Jaehyun's record company opens up auditions for a casting show, he's looking for the next big superstar, but he has no idea one of the candidates is no one else than his teenage son who's starting a rebellion.

He started to read out the names one by one, the chosen candidates breaking out in cries and screams, or laugher.
"Zhong Chenle, Huang Renjun," he read out glancing at them and Renjun felt how Chenle nearly choked him in a hug, but he smiled wider unable to believe he has really done it.
Chenle was squealing on a high pitched tone jumping up and down when Renjun smiled to Sicheng who read out the last few names, including Daisy Kim, the annoying girl, who looked their way with despise receiving a stuck out tongue from Chenle.
"We will show this chick who's better here!" Chenle grinned wider when Renjun barely held his laugher.
He need to take a lot of papers for his parents to sing, then the jury told them all the details about the bootcamp that was starting next week in a villa in the countryside.
"You will face most of the real jury members there, they might be strict but they are there to help you, so listen to them and their advice, they only want the best for you. You have impressed us but it's a long way up, it's just the start, so work hard and good luck, in case of any trouble please feel free to speak about it Sicheng, he's the co-owner of the whole casting show, the second CEO of SJ Music," the journalist looked towards the boy who blushed harder when Renjun saw how Chenle's jaw dropped.
He looked at Renjun when his lips formed a big 'wow', so Renjun lowered his head quickly.
"Ok so thank you a lot and up to bed," said Sicheng clapping.
"Wow wow, you never told me your bro is the boss here!" said Chenle when they were a little further from the other contestants in the corridor.
"Jaehyun is the boss," whispered Renjun blushing.
"Jaehyun is a legend, but your brother is his right hand!" Chenle was still stunned. "Wow, so have you, have you met him?" he asked.
"Who?" asked Renjun.
"Jaehyun or Taeyong?"
"No," Renjun looked away from him.
"Wow if my brother was, I'd at least ask him to bring an autograph for me," said Chenle.
"I did," assured Renjun feeling so strange.
"Imagine if we make it to the life shows we will meet the real Jaehyun, maybe even Lee Taeyong, that would be a dream come true, I'm such a huge fan, Taeyong is a level up above all the stars in our country like for real, even Mark Lee can't top that, and he's Jaehyun's life parter so there's a big chance he will come to see him in the live shows. If he comes I'll beg for an autograph!" Chenle jumped up.
"Chenle!" Renjun heard a woman raising her voice.
He turned to see two people standing in the corridor.
"That's my parents I need to go take care!" Chenle tapped his shoulder then ran to them, Renjun observed how he started to talk to them eagerly, he felt something icy deep inside him. He had no idea how his mom looked like, what was her name, or his father's. How much he tried to remember anything from the times before the orphanage there was nothing, an abyss of pain opened in him so abruptly he felt tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Junie we're good to go!" he heard Sicheng's voice behind him. "Junie what's up?"
"Nothing," he said washing the tears off with his sleeve.
"Sicheng know it's been a long day we'll go to sleep right away," Sicheng laid his arm around him leading him to the underground garage to his car.
He drove out on the road smoothly when Renjun was facing the window trying his best to not to think about Chenle and his parents, his real ones. The unknown haunting past was hurting him, he really wished to find out who they ware how they looked like, his parents, but he didn't want to hurt Taeyong or Jae not, after all they had done for him, so he kept it for himself.
"June are you feeling bad?" asked Sicheng watching him.
"No," he said trying his best to not to break out in tears again.
Fortunately they reached Sicheng's flat soon, he was happy he could just pretend nothing's wrong and got to sleep. Sicheng opened the front door and Renjun left his shoes on the floor.
He walked behind the boy to the spacious living room where the main couch was moved out as a bed, there were duvets and pillows there as each time when he stayed over.
He saw Yuta sitting on it watching TV with interest.
"Hi, how was the audition?" asked Yuta turning to Sicheng.
"Good," Sicheng walked to the boy leaning in for a small kiss on the lips. Renjun saw how Sicheng's face lit up. He pecked Yuta's lips a few more times then turned to him.
"Junie do you want to eat something?" he asked.
"No," Renjun walked to his bag that was next to the dining table, the took his pajamas out then hurried to the bathroom to change.
He felt stage, they all were taking care of him, yet he seemed so lonely. If his parents were alive, would it be that way too? Chenle and his mum, the image returned causing Renjun to feel sharp pain in his belly. He tried his best to fight the tears when he took a quick shower then changed into pajamas. He walked back to living room to see how Sicheng was lying on Yuta kissing him deeply, Yuta's hands under his hoodie moving it up his back. Renjun had no idea what to do so he decided to sneak back to the kitchen, but he collided with a standing lamp that cracked and the two glued off each other. Sicheng's face was red when he turned his way, he smiled awkwardly.
"Oh you're quick. Ok, Sicheng go change into Sicheng's pajamas," he muttered jumping up from Yuta's body when the boy watched behind him in a longing way.
