Jaehyun's record company opens up auditions for a casting show, he's looking for the next big superstar, but he has no idea one of the candidates is no one else than his teenage son who's starting a rebellion.

"Renjun I know you don't like her but stop accusing her of everything, we don't know," said Sicheng.
"What do you mean, we don't know! She wanted to kill Dalli, she wants to get rid of the concurrence!" Renjun raised his voice.
"Junie enough! Prepare for your audition!" said Sicheng seriously and Renjun felt like slapped.
He lowered his head walking back to his room, the moment he entered Chenle raised from his bed then left immediately. Renjun felt anger, he slammed his thighs on the bed, he had left Dalli at Sicheng's to be sure she's safe, the rest were just clothes and things he used, noting important, Daisy could have them to destroy.
He left downstairs to eat something, but when he entered the kitchen he saw Jared and Jeno looking at each other meaningfully, both jumped up taking their plates leaving him all alone in the room. He tried his best to be calm, he didn't need them or anyone, he was good on his own. Like in the orphanage, his hands trembled when he tried to open the fridge.
Don't think about it, he instructed himself, he hated when the memories of those terrible days were coming back uncontrollably.
He ate quickly, only Jeno came back into the kitchen for a bottle of juice, he eyed him up strangely then left, Renjun was trying his best to ignore although he felt so bad, so odd.
He was happy when two hours later he was in the back of the house waiting for his audition reversing the lyrics of the song. It was easier to concentrate on his challenge than the things going on behind the scenes.
"Renjun come," a cameraman and a staff worker approached him so he walked outside to the garden where the jury was waiting.
They had heaters right behind the sofa so the air around the recording area was rather warm.
Renjun looked towards Sicheng who was very stressed today and barely smiled to him. He became nervous, the microphone was slipping in his sweaty hands.
"Hello I'm Renjun, I'm fourteen," he whispered bowing down.
He sang giving his best then thanked the jury leaving backstage. He was waiting there unable to relax, was it over, definitely, the others were way better, he had no chances to be in the live shows. The time was crawling, soon all candies were waiting, the tension in the corridor was so high no one could really find a good position. Renjun saw how Chenle and Jeno were watching him in an angry way both whispering something so he turned his back to them.
"We want all of you in the garden," said a man coming in so Renjun feet like his heart sped up unconditionally, he thought it will explode when he walked behind the others then stopped on the lawn unable to watch the jury members.
"Daisy Kim," said Sicheng so the girl went out raising her head proudly. "Congrats you're the first person who's in the live shows," said Sicheng when she started to jump up screaming loud.
"Oh no!" commented Chenle but began to cough a lot.
"Any problems there?" asked Sicheng turning his way.
"No, no I was talking about my clod," whispered Chenle, yes he could barely speak.
"Jared and Mia you're in the live shows too," said Sicheng causing both to jump up and hug.
He was reading the next names out soon there were seven people sanding there.
"Zhong Chenle," he siad.
The boy went out his face all pale.
"Congrats, you were really unlucky today but we believe in your talent," said Sicheng and Chenle nodded smiling brightly.
In a normal situation he would be giving our dolphin like sequels but he was ready to save his voice.
"There are two places left," Sicheng looked at them when Renjun felt he will faint.
Of course there was no place for him.
"Lee Jeno," he read out. "You're more a dancer than a singer but there is potential in you we want to explore, so welcome to the live shows."
Jeno ran to hug Chenle both absolutely happy while Renjun felt some tears rolling down his cheeks against his will.
There were 11 of them standing there, one place left.
"It was a hard choice, we discussed it for a long time, all of you are very very talented but one person left a strong impression on the jury members. They weren't sure if this person is strong enough to be in the live shows but we decided to risk it. The last candidate to join the live shows is..." Sicheng made a long break when Renjun felt he will not stand it, he was washing his tears off with his sleeve, the cameraman making close ups on all their faces.
"So the last person to join the live shows is Huang Renjun," said Sicheng when a silence fell.
No one clapped, all the candidates were staring at him with hate and he had no idea what to do. Suddenly the jury members got up to clap for him, Jeno and a few others follows in a very faint way.
"Thank you," whispered Renjun bowing down. "Thank you," he walked through the lawn to the chosen candidates standing next to Chenle who moved two steps away from him.
"So, Sicheng hope you can all find your way in the future, there are a lot of chances," Sicheng started a heartwarming speech towards the candidates who needed to go home when Renjun wanted it to end as quickly as possible.

What do you think about Renjun being bullied by the other candidates yet making it to the live show where he will meet Jae as a jury member?
Also the current situation raises so many questions. Why is the record company doing it in such a questionable way? Why are artists misused and mistreated to lead politics? Why hasn't Kun received any official birthday wishes from the company or the fellow NCT members? Why is Winwin excluded from an unit he has been a part from the beginning, which's success he was working on for two years now, an unit that had been to the AMA's, performed on Jimmy Kinmel, is starting a world tour this year; to join a so called 'rookie band' that will mostly promote in one country and start back from the beginning? Whatever you say it's not the same. And the last question why are most fans ok with that?
