"Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse." Elijah said "Elena said that the Sun and the Moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus." Stefan said "Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it... He'll be a true hybrid." Elijah said as Damon walks down the stairs.

"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie." Damon said "Damon..." Stefan goes to say but Elena interrupts him. "No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying." Elena said "I'll write her a great eulogy." Damon and I say in sync. "You see this all comes down to the doppelgänger needing to die. She's human, every human dies eventually. This is just checking her time card out early." I say

"I thought you were here to help." Stefan said "I am, kind of. I've done told you the second my life is in danger of Klaus killing me. I will gladly shove Elena to him with a bow on top." I say with Stefan and Damon glaring at me. "It's not an option, Damon." Elena said ignoring me. "All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asked "Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know." Elijah said

"The moonstone." Stefan said "A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each." Elijah said "And where do I fit into it?" Elena asked "The final part of the ritual." Elijah said taking a wooden box of the shelf. "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelganger... To the point of your death." I say making Damon look at Elena.

Stefan takes Elena's hand making her look at him. Elijah opens the box and takes the jar from it. "And that's where you come in." Elena said "This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation." Elijah said

"So I'll be dead?" Elena asked "And then you won't." Elijah said "That's your plan? A magical witch potion with no expiration date?" Damon asked looking at Elena. "You want to come back to life, what about John's ring?" Damon asked "Those rings only work on humans. The doppelganger's a supernatural occurrence. Odds are, the ring won't work." I say

"I'll take those odds over Elijahs elixir. What if it doesn't work, Elena?" Damon asked "Then I guess I'll just be dead." Elena said making me snort. Damon looks at Stefan and Stefan shrugs. Damon looks at Elijah and leaves. "Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?" Elena asked

"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over a thousand years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf, my guess is by tonight, he will." Elijah said and Stefan and I go outside to join Damon who is drinking scotch.

"Breakfast of champions, huh?" Stefan asked "I'm surrounded by idiots. I need all the help I can get." Damon said making me use my magic to make him fly into a wall. "Hey, just because you're head of heels for the doppelbitch does not mean you can disrespect me. If she wants to die we let her die. It saves us from having to save Elena, always saving Elena. Like it's our damn job. When I'm only doing this because she's Stefan's girlfriend. I could care less about her. You will learn one of these days Damon, I am not one to cross." I growl at him letting him go

"You know, you're not helping." Stefan said "Elijah is an original vampire, Stefan. One we tried to kill. You're going to believe this guy?" Damon asked "What do you want me to do, Damon? Elena made her decision. She's choosing to trust Elijah. I'm going to put my faith in her." Stefan said "Why? She's going to end up dead." Damon said
