Bex walks in the Mansion. "Alaric Saltzman just tried to kill me." Bex said "Alaric Saltzman is supposed to be dead." I say "Well, he's not. And he's vampire thanks to mother's spell with a white oak stake that can't kill him. He is strong, Nik, Teena. Too strong." Bex said "Where is he now?" Nik asked "He's stuck at the school without a daylight ring, but as soon as night falls he'll come after us. We need to leave now." Bex said "Fine. I'll collect Elena. We'll be on our way." Nik said "Forget Elena!" I say "You don't need anymore stupid hybrids." Bex said "What I need is protection from Esther's continued assaults against us." Nik said "We'll protect each other, like we always have. Always and forever, Nik." Bex said
"I'm not leaving without her." Nik said "I'm leaving now. You can either walk out that door with me or you are on your own." Nik looks at Bex but doesn't say anything. "Fine. Trust your hybrids over your family. Let your spite be the death of you, see if I care." As Bex walks out the room Tyler is carrying a moving box. "Move it, sire boy!" Bex said "What's her deal?" Tyler asked

I walked into the Gilbert House. "Anyone of you wanna tell me why the hell Ric is alive?" I ask looking between Bonnie, Damon and Stefan who are in the kitchen. "We were just getting to that. What do you mean he turned? I thought you were standing guard." Stefan said "Don't blame me. Blame Bonnie the blood bank. She fed him." Damon said "Bonnie are you serious?" I ask "I had no idea what was happening. Okay. The witches led me there. They wanted him to feed so he'd turn." Bonnie said "So, where's the stake now?" I ask "Oh, you mean the white oak one? The one that can kill an original and wipe out an entire line of vampires? We don't know." Damon said "If you are so upset with me, why did you feed me your blood to save my life?" Bonnie asked

"Because I do stupid things, Bonnie. I do things, like let my friend die with dignity when I should've just killed him." Damon said "Alright. So how do we kill him now?" Stefan asked "I've been trying to figure that out." Bonnie said before I interrupted her. "A witch can't truly make an immortal creature, there's always a way to undo the spell." I say "So, what's the witchy work around?" Damon asked looking at Bonnie and I. "That's the problem. I don't know." Bonnie said and they look at me. "I think it has something to do with Elena." They glare at me. "Look hear me out, okay? When I followed them to the Salvatore crypt Esther said something about Elena's blood being a potent binding agent for witch spells. If I'm right and I most likely am because I studied that woman's grimoire front to back multiple times then the only way for Ric to be stopped is for Elena to die. But I know y'all are against that so y'all have fun figuring that out." I say and I hear Elena's phone ring from upstairs. "Whoever this is, it's not funny." Elena said "Well, who else would it be?" Ric asked on the other line. "Ric?" Elena asked

I tone out of her conversation with Ric when the doorbell rings. I see Nik outside the door.
"What the hell do you want?" Jeremy asked "Now is that any way to treat a guest?" Nik asked and Stefan and I walk over to Jeremy and Nik. "What are you doing here, Klaus?" Stefan asked "Well, for starters, young Jeremy here could show some manners and invite me inside." Nik said "Why don't you go up to your room?" Stefan said. Damon walks up behind us. "Now." Damon said "Hmm, poor lad. Loses one questionable father figure only to be replaced by the likes of the two of you." Nik said "Yeah, about that. Something happened." Damon said "Oh, I know all about my mother's invulnerable little creation. That's why I'm here. I'm leaving town, just need to pick up a few road trip necessities. Spare tire, flashlight, doppelganger." Nik said "Can't help you there." Damon said and he closes the door in Nik's face and Stefan goes upstairs. "Bad idea Damon." I say "Elena!" Stefan goes into the same room as Jeremy. "Where is she?" Stefan asked "I don't know. She was just here a few minutes ago." Jeremy said and Stefan walks back downstairs to Damon and I. "Where is she?" Damon asked "She is not here." Stefan said "What do you mean she's not here? Where did she go?" Damon asked and Bonnie joins us. "What's going on?" Bonnie asked and Damon and I look out the window and I see Nik with a newspaper in his hand. I laugh a little knowing he was about to throw a tantrum. I quickly and quietly cast a protection spell around myself so I don't get hurt during his tantrum.
