Day Two

"It's not my fault he likes mint chocolate!" Hoseok argued. "I worry for your relationship," you replied, the both of you walkung side by side.

Hoseok hung out with you more because he and Yoongi got into a fight recently. "Ignoring your boyfriend over mint chocolate is dumb."

"Listen here, I'm ok with Yoongi's flaws cause that's what makes him the amazing person he is, but liking mint chocolate means you have bad taste-" Hoseok was about to continue trying to give a valid reason for the fight until you interrupted him.

"Hi Jungkook!" You waved at the doe eyed boy as he walked out of the coffee shop you and Hoseok were passing by. He glances at you, but proceeds walking without even giving you a small smile, acting as if he didn't know who you were.

Seconds later, you could hear Hoseok burst into laughter while a frown grew on your face. Did I do anything wrong? You thought to yourself, feeling neglected.

Day Three

You walked into campus, reciting your grocery list for later in your head since you were too lazy to write it down.

You haven't had breakfast yet so you were heading to the canteen. Spotting Jungkook's head from afar, you ran up to his side. "Jeon, wanna get some food? My treat," you smiled at him.

"Sorry, I'm busy," he said in a monotone before walking the other way and leaving you alone.

Day Four

"You know, Yoongi told me to come home and apparently he skipped a few classes to set up my living room with rose petals and candles so we can get over the fight and that's so sweet, I cried and-"

Chin resting on your palm, you were really out of it today and Hoseok rambling about Yoongi's surprise for him for the hundredth time today went through one ear and out the other.

"I miss Jungkook," you blurted out as you stared into the void. "What?" Hoseok questioned, eyes widening with curiousity.

Realizing what you just said, you quickly defended yourself. "I mean, I miss all the bickering and arguing. It's kinda boring not having some annoying asshole around, you get me?"

Yeah, totally not because you missed him always being there for you and making you smile.

Day Five

You know what? Today's the day you're gonna confront Jungkook and ask him what you did for him to avoid you. You were fed up of thinking and thinking of all the possible reasons and making yourself feel guilty. The more you thought about it, the more you realized you didn't do anything wrong.

Stomping your way to Jungkook's class, you saw him standing at the front door, waiting for someone. Before you could approach him, a girl in a summer dress came up to him with a Starbucks drink and a granola bar.

"Kookie, you didn't eat at all this morning so I bought you a drink and a little snack," you heard her say. "Thanks Jugyeong, I wouldn't know what to do without you," he replied with a smile, entering the classroom with the girl.

Maybe, just maybe, you weren't being a good enough friend? Maybe that's why he isn't hanging out with you anymore? He was always helping you and keeping up with your bullshit and what did you ever do?

Day Six

You were feeling down again like you have for nearly the whole week. Walking to your classroom, you saw Jungkook passing by. "Hey Jeon," you said, looking him in the eye with a sweet smile.

You weren't even surprised at this point. He just walked past you without even replying. You continued walking to your class with the sad expression you've had on your face the whole week.

Day Seven

"Chinese and greek philosophers describe the basic principals of optics and the camera, Aristotle discussed pinhole image formation in his work," you mumbled, reciting the history of photography as you were munching on the hotdog you bought.

The doors of the canteen opened and your eyes went to see who came in. Ah, one of the criminolgy majors.

You looked back down onto the sad, half-eaten hotdog infront of you. "The invention of the camera obscura is attributed to the Iraqi scientist Alhazen and described in his book of optics, Isaac Newton discovers that white light is composed of different colors by refracting white light off a prism-"

The doors open again. Your head jolts up and sees Jungkook walking to where you were sitting. Your eyes lit up and the terrible mood you were in the whole week starts disappearing every step he took towards you.

"Hey Jeo-" You were about to greet him till he walked past your table and to where that same girl from before was sitting.

The twinkles in your eyes when you thought he was coming to you faded away and the blank expression you had on your face was back again.
