"Fear cuts deeper than swords." - George R.R Martin
Wicked, nefarious, vile, and malicious are just a few of the words used to describe a cursed. But what is a cursed? A cursed being is a mixture of both vampire and wolf DNA. They are stronger and f...
"Are you sure you have everything that you need?" I question as I grip Alina's hand. Alina was already knocked out, Rose has yet to do the spell. Rose gives me a look before she reaches behind her to move her hair out from her face.
"If your ready to start and not act like a scared mother," she comments and I narrow my eyes at her. She acts as if she never had someone to care about. I move out the way as Rose starts the spell. As I waited, my thoughts drifted to Jace. If I were to kill him, which I would really like to do, Alina would hate me. Memories erased or not that was her husband and father of her child. I may spare him just for the sake of her. But her daughter had to die. Perhaps I could make it as painless as I could or just simply not tell her that her daughter's dead. How would lying help me in any way?
"Selles?" I shifted my attention and saw those big brown eyes staring up at me in awe. She reached up slowly and touched my face.
"It really is you," she whispered. I grabbed her palms and kissed them. I had waited so long to see her that this moment felt too perfect.
"Step away from my wife!" A very annoying voice demands as it steps into the room. I reluctantly let go of Alina's hands with a roll of my eyes and a heavy sigh.
"Ah, Jace. I see you've finally found us."
"I said step away."
"What makes you think you have any advantage here? Especially to be making demands." I reply as I get in defense. I know I said I may spare him, but if he wants a battle, I will kill him right here. Jace strides over holding a large axe in his hands. Did he need weapons to fight me? I almost want to laugh right in his pale face.
"I'm not giving my wife up without a fight." Jace snarls, and I shrug. Well, it's his funeral. Jace cocks his arm back to swing his large axe before Alina steps between the two of us. I instantly step back,
"Don't," she replies as her hand lays on both of our chests.
"Alina, move aside. I promise I won't get hurt." Jace replies to her. Does he think she's protecting him? Ha! I would mop the floor with this guy, it's clearly the latter.
"I can't let you do that," Alina replies
"Alina, move aside. I'll be fine." He answers her again while looking directly at her.
"I said no." His eyes narrowed as he looked between the two of us. He lowered his weapon slowly, but the same look remained on his face.
"Gadyen nan balans!"

"Gadyen nan balans!" I shout while gripping the amulet that the three witches gave me. Selles looked back at me furious before storming my way.
"Gadyen nan balans!" I shout one more time and Selles freezes before he gets any closer. The same woman I saw in my vision with her hooded cloak whispered something. Before I could sedate her, she vanished. She must be a witch. He holds his throat as if he was choking before falling onto his knees.
