Run. Don't look back. "Y/n~" I gulped, trying to find something, someone who could help me. Tears rushed down my cheeks as I hit a dead end, only one way in, and one way out. He started getting closer, my heart pounding out of my chest.

"Y/n".

I let out a cry, begging for anything, anyone to come save me.

"Y/n!"

I shot up, letting out a high pitched scream, cracking my eyes open, looking around. Must've been another nightmare.

"Are you alright,love?"

I looked over to my side, my partner sitting up beside me, rubbing my back in a soothing manner. I leaned into his touch, taking a deep breath before speaking. " 'm fine. Just another nightmare thats all.."

I felt his hand make its way up to my hair, running his fingers through my h/l h/c locks. I smiled softly, enjoying the moment. My eyes fluttered closed as I was calmed by the quiet and the sound of Luci's heartbeat.

"Hey Luci..?" I spoke. "Yes?" I nuzzled into him, sighing deeply. "Do you ever have nightmares?"

He paused, thinking. I shook my head slowly. "No, never mind, sorry, it was a dumb question" I hear a deep chuckle. I opened my eyes, looking up at my partner.

"Well, I may not dream very often, you humans tend to do that a lot.. but, I do have bad dreams once in a blue moon." I nod, leaning up, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "What do you dream about when you have a bad dream?"

"Well" he started. "When I do have a bad dream, it usually involves losing you.." I let out a small "oh". He sighed deeply. "I dont understand why my father decides to play with my feelings and give me dreams of losing my boyfriend per say."

I gasped and grinned. "You finally called me your boyfriend!" He rolled his eyes playfully, pushing me back onto my pillow, lying down beside me, a soft smile playing on his lips.

I curled up in his arms,laying my head on his bare chest as he pull the blankets over the two of us.

"Hey Luci?"

"Hm?"

"Will you protect me from the nightmares..?"

He let out a small chuckle. "Of course."

I smiled. "Okay... I love you" I let my eyes flutter close.

He pressed a soft kiss to my lips.
"I love you too".
