Sixteen

*ELLE'S P.O.V*

I woke up in a different house, I rubbed my eyes and it hurt real bad on the left one. I couldn't remember why and than I remember what had happened last night. Was dad fighting about me not caring for him? But why would I care for him? Why did mom and dad get back together?

"How's your eye feeling?" I hear Collins ask, he is caring a tray of pancakes with syrup, bacon and eggs.

"You told me this was your favourite breakfast." He smiled, I smiled back.

"It kills. Thank you Collins, you know you don't have to do that?"

"I know, but I wanted to."

I ate my delicious breakfast.

"I should probably go home now, I won't tell them I was here, sorry if I invaded your personal space."

"No Elle, you are completely welcome to stay here especially when you need to ok?" Collins is so generous he is such a great guy.

"Thank you Collins I appreciate it so much."

I give Collins and Devan a hug and thank them and their parents again for letting me stay here.

When I got home I ran up to my bedroom and acted like I was there all night.

"Good morning Elle" I hear my dad say

"Morning dad..."

"Where did you go last night?" 

"Out!"

"Obviously you went out but where?"

I couldn't tell dad where I was.

"I went for a run then came back, didn't you hear me?"

"No..."

"You were probably too busy yelling." I mumble

"WHAT did you SAY Elle?!"

"I said, 'Well I came back so don't worry.'"

Finally my dad left, he still scares me so much.

"Hi Elle..." I hear Lewis say.

"Hey Lew- UM WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!"

"SHUT UP!" I hear him quietly scream.

"I told you not to go down there Lewis, why did you go down?"

"Because...dad was going to chase after you."

"You did that for me?!"

"Well... I went down for you, I didn't say what I did for you."

"Lew, you need to get that checked out."

"I know! But dad won't take me and neither will mom." He looks at me with hopeful eyes.

"Fine, I'll take you."
