*LEWIS' P.O.V*

I heard mom and dad screaming at each other than I heard Elle yelling at them to stop, I quickly give Ava my headphones

"Listen to this new song Ava!"

Luckily she didn't suspect a thing, I heard dad yelling at Elle then I heard her scream. Did everyone live like this? Is this what all dads do to their children? 

"ELLE!!! ELLE!!! I'M NOT DONE YET COME BACK!!! WHAT YOU DID WAS WRONG YOU PIECE OF CRAP!"

I doubt Elle heard what dad just said though, she left the house. I don't know where she went and when she will be back.

"Ava, whatever happens, DON'T go downstairs ok?'

"Whatever Lewis, I'm just listening to the new hits." I ignored her sassiness just this once. But all I know is i'm considering going downstairs now. I walk downstairs

"Hi dad! You ready to watch the footy now?"

Damn, he did look pretty angry.

"DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M READY TO WATCH THE FOOTBALL?!"

"Exactly what I thought, you are a horrible father! You always have and always will be! Don't bother speaking to me again!"

"LEWIS DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT ME!" Mom looked pretty worried, she hadn't said anything in a while.

"I DIDN'T RAISE YOU LIKE THAT!" I hear my dad yell, I couldn't help but come back with a comment

"YEAH, YOU DIDN'T RAISE ME AT ALL!"

He came up and punched me in the arm, it hurt like crazy though I'm 15 now I didn't cry...well maybe a little bit it really hurt. All mom and dad did was yell all night, I heard dad abusing mom. Why would someone treat someone else like this? Why doesn't anyone talk about how this happens to them? Why?
