Chapter 21: Business partners 2.

Katrina's POV.

"Did you know each other?"

"No/Yes" sabay kaming nag tinginan ni lucas nang sabay rin kaming nag salita, pinabalik balik saamin ni tito ang tingin dahil naguguluhan kung sino ba ang nag sasabi ng totoo.

"W-we're classmates." Lucas added and gave me a small smile. 

"I didn't notice him, I'm sorry" I smiled before I sat besides tito,  I greeted Lucas dad more formal this time.

"Mr. Lopez here was right, you are such a beautiful lady" Mr. Del Valle complimented me which made me smile at him, iniiwas ang tingin kay lucas.

Hindi ko din alam kung bakit ko ba siya iniiwasan, na gulat lang ako na dad pala niya ang business partner ni tito.

"She is beautiful just like her mom, my wife" Tito chard proudly said to Mr. Del Valle, I glance to Lucas when I felt he is looking at me, but he immediately avoided my gaze.

"What a lucky guy are you Mr. Lopez" Lucas dad replied which made them both laugh, tahimik lang kaming dalawa ni Lucas, which made it awkward for both of us.

We already ordered our food, and now we're finally eating, I'm so hungry, I haven't eat any since earlier.

"Lucas, why won't you ask Katrina out sometimes? That would be good for both of you because her family is our partners!" Lucas dad turned the conversation from business to us which made me almost choked from what he said.

Ask me out?

"I won't mind, if Ms. Katrina won't mind too?" Lucas responded, he was now looking at me while smiling.

"That's a great idea, Katrina is very bubbly and friendly, of course she won't mind" tito interrupted too, I gave them a fake smile.

There's just a part of me that doesn't like the idea of hanging out with someone..

"A-actually I have to go, I still have a lot of school works to finish, it's nice meeting you Mr. Del valle" I stood up as soon as I said that, that made them stand too.

"Ganon ba, it's nice to meet you too" He smiled at me then offered me for a shake hand, I accepted it and gave him a smile.

"Be safe iha, did you bring your car?" Tita asked.

Ow no, I didn't.

"I just took an uber tito"

"I'm sorry, I also need to go, as she said, we still have a lot of school works to do" Lucas interrupted, nangunot naman agad ang noo ko, at talagang sinabayan niya ako?

"Perfect, why won't you take Katrina for a ride home?" His dad said. Napakamot naman ako nang marinig iyon.

"Katrina, let Lucas take you home so I know you will be home safe" Tito interrupted, I didn't try to argue and accepted the fact that Lucas will take me home.

I just greeted them one last time before we left the restaurant, nakasakay na rin ako sa kotse ni Lucas.

"This is not my way home, alam mo naman address ko right? D-"
