It was a sunny day in Chicago, a good sign as some people would say. The town had a reputation for great hospitality management and it was in one of this prestigious hotel Tania Olubankole slept soundly.

Stirring in her sleep, the rays from the sun partially blinded her vision. Stifling a yawn she noted that someone had left the blind open, not her, because she lived alone.

Jotling awake she observed her surroundings, pupils dilating at the thought of what had happened the previous night.

"What the..." she cursed softly as the banging in her head was similar to that of her home theater. Seeing a pain killer on the bedside table her memories from the previous night came into play.

She had arrived Chicago to get over a recent breakup. Choosing a booth at the far corner of the bar she sipped her drink with tears threatening to spill from her eyes. The alcohol did nothing to calm her emotions as her body threatened to burst open. Every bit of her was suddenly awake, she felt those piercing eyes again.

Summoning courage she locked eyes with that of a not so handsome man, according to her spec. He was openly staring at her while running a finger along the rim of his goblet.

Not one to back down easily she held his gaze taking a break from her drinking. As subtle as the hint was he strode over to her casually not a hair out of place as he approached her.

"I won't say you're the most beautiful woman in the world because that'll be a lie."

"Hmm!" she replied not taking her gaze off him.

"How about we play a game of chess? I saw you at the center the other day."

"Are you stalking me?" she inquired.

"Nah." He clicked his tongue. "Just similar interests. Now a game of chess, if you win you get the ticket for the One Direction concert and if you lose..." he gave a smile that would have made some ladies heart flutter, unfortunately she wasn't that type. "I get a kiss from you."

"Are you insane? First you stalk me and now you're trying to put me in a fix." she grimaced with scrunched face.

"Off course not. All I know is that I'm trying to help a lady who's at the verge of breaking up because a loser called it quits."

"Hello." she raised her voice a pitch higher glaring daggers at the Caucasian in front of her. His black straight hair had been gelled to the back and those dark grey eyes had never left hers for once.

Remembering Sophia's advice on breaking a leg she decided to give the rough dude in front of her a whip for all she cared.

"Deal. And not just the ticket but an amazon shopping voucher."

"Deal." he concluded turning on his heels away.
