Suddenly, he called my name. I turned to look at him, completely forgetting about what I did five minutes ago.

He slapped flower all over my mouth, my nose, and my cheeks. My mouth opened in shock.

"Hey, you've got something on your lip, care if I get it off?" He asked. He moved towards me, gently lifted my chin and made eye contact with me.

We stared in each other's eyes for what felt like eternity as we slowly started to lean closer.

I closed my eyes his lips brushed mine. The soft touch turned into a kiss.

The most amazing feeling.

I slowly pulled away and once again made eye contact with him. I blushed and tried to wipe the flower off of my face and he smiled at my attempt to get it off.

"Cutie," He laughed, running a small towel under the sink and handing it to me.

"Back at ya," I smirked, finally getting the flower off of my face.

We finished baking the cookies, but the whole time I was reliving that kiss. It was so incredibly magical.

I made my way to the couch and snuggled up with a soft blanket. Nathan put the cookie dough in the oven and joined me in the living room. He grabbed the remote and walked over to me.

"Mind if I share?" He asked, pointing to the blanket. I nodded and he joined me.

"Alright, what do you want to watch?" He asked, flipping through movies on Netflix.

"To All The Boys I've Ever Loved Before!" I exclaimed.

He groaned at my request so I gently flicked his forehead.

"Fine, fine. I guess I'll put up with it, just this once," He agreed, reluctantly hitting play.

We began watching the movie and I had never felt so relaxed. I was leaning my head on his shoulder and he was playing with my hair.

This really was the best feeling.

After a fun afternoon of cookies, movies, and board games, it was unfortunately time for me to go home.
He walked me out to his front porch and shut the door.

"Thanks for a really fun day, Livbug. Best day I've had in a while," He smiled, showing his perfectly white teeth.

"Same! Thanks for having meeee," I laughed, brushing my hair to the side.

We made long eye contact again and he pulled me in for a kiss again, his soft hands holding my face, radiating warmth on my cheeks.

I grinned and made my way down the steps, waving as I left on my bike.

What a handsome dork.

I finally arrived home and put my bike in the garage. I walked through the door to find my family watching football on the couch. Nothing out of the ordinary.

"Hey kid, have fun?" Dylan asked me, taking a sip of a beer. Illegal, but whatever.

"Yep! Best day ever!" I exclaimed, twirling around.

My brothers suspiciously looked at each other.

"Why are you all giddy?" Ben asked me, looking confused.

"No reason!" I exclaimed, still smiling like an idiot.

Jackson motioned me to come over and I joined him on the couch, sitting between him and Ben.

"Is someone not telling us something?" Jackson warned, but obviously in a joking tone.

"No secrets here!" I laughed, throwing up some peace signs for the fun of it.

Ben poked me in the side and I squealed and fell on my back.

"Did you kiss him yet? It's so obvious you have a crush," Ryan asked. There was no avoiding this question.

"Yes?" I questioned, not breaking my smile.

Jackson groaned, Dylan rolled his eyes, and Ben flopped back on the couch. Ryan just laughed.

"Sorry guys! He's a good guy, you guys know that," I whined. They looked slightly more appeased.

"I guess so. Whatever, I'm too lazy to beat
you up tonight," Dylan sighed, pushing me off the couch and causing me to roll onto the floor.

I huffed and made myself comfortable on the floor, covering my ears every time one of them yelled about football.

Sounded like a typical night in the Lybrant household.
