He wrapped his arms around me.

"Sure. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, just feeling a bit sick."

"Do you want me to bring you anything?"
"No, I'm going to check on Kacy."
"Okay, I'm gonna take the girls to school."

Kacy, 2 year old daughter, was sleeping. Shawn hasn't returned home yet, and my hands began to shake as I stared at the pregnancy test.

What felt like hours went by before I finally saw two lines appear.

We're gonna have another child.

My eyes began to tear up and the thought of welcoming another child made my heart melt.

I heard the door open and close and ran quickly down the stairs.

"Shawn!" I began crying.
"Babe, what's wrong?" he asked, worried.
"We-we're gonna have a-another child."

His eyes widened and a large smile began to form on his lips.

He hugged me and bent over so his face was aligned with my stomach.

"Hey child. Dad's home. Your sisters are gonna love you."

"I can't believe we're having our fourth child."
"I know, it's crazy."

"I love you, Shawn."

He looked up at me.

"I love you too."
