"How was your day? Did the interviews go well?" I ask Shawn, eating a muffin.

"They all went great. Some questions about you came up," he said, smiling. "I wish I was their  To steal your muffin."
I chuckled, saying, "Me too."

"Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, it was thundering last night, but I want  surprisingly okay."
"Aw, that's good."
I nodded, picking my phone up and propping it against the toaster on my counter.

"What time is it there?"
"9:30. What about there?"
"Exactly 9:30 in the morning."

"Time zones are so weird." he groaned.
"Yeah, you must be jet lagged."
"Oh geez, don't get me started."

I smiled, cleaning my dishes.

We continue  To talk for a bit until I said, "Shawn, you look like you're falling asleep. Go to sleep, bubby, I'll talk to you tonight."
"But when it's night for you, It's morning for me, so I'll have interviews to attend." he pouted, rubbing his eyes.
"Then we can talk tomorrow when it's night for you and morning for me?"
"Tomorrow night Andrew and I are going to meet up with one of the artists here."
"Oh, um, then we can talk next time you're free?"
"But what if you're busy?"
"Then I'll call you back."

"Time zones suck."
"I agree, Shawn."
"Y/n, I'm sorry I left you."
"Bub, shush, you'll be home soon. You didn't leave me."
"It feels like I've been so distant-"
"I mean you are very distant." I joked.
I heard him chuckle.

"Very funny," he said, sarcastically. "But when I come back we're going on a roadtrip."
"But won't you be tired?"
"Nope, cause your gonna give me energy."
"I barely have enough energy to function." I laughed.
"Wow, how relatable and quirky!" We laughed.

"Shawn, I think you should go to sleep now."
"Okay, good night, angel." he smiled, blowing a kiss.
"Sleep well. I love you."
"I love and miss you more than anything. Have a great day, baby."
"I'll see you soon." I smiled, ending the facetime call.

I felt lonely after ending the call, so I went up to our room. I opened Shawn's side of the closet and grabbed one of his sweatshirts, putting it on.

I miss him more than anything and I'd do anything to fly to Asia just to see him.
