"I told you, Shawn! You need to move on from me. I love you, but I-I was never good for you." she said, as she slammed the door, leaving.

Just like that, the love of my life left me.

I opened the door, running after her, but she disappeared.

I glanced to her side of the bed. I miss her.

Waking up, I went into the kitchen, making a quick breakfast.

As I reached into the back of the cabinet, something caught my eye.

Her coffee cup.

I bit my lip, holding back the tears.

I held the cup in my hands.

"I miss you y/n. Why did you have to leave?" I said.

I set the cup on the table, clearing the dishes away, no longer feeling hungry.

My phone began ringing.

"Who would be calling me at 6 in the morning?"

Jack.

"Hey Shawn."
"Hey Jack."
"How are you bud?"
"I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'll be just fine."
"Do you want to hangout later?"
"I can't. I work in two hours."
"Right, um, give me a call later and we can meet up?"
"Yeah. I'll see you later."

I hung up the phone.

Y/n left two months ago. She walked out of my life. Just because of one stupid argument and a few hurtful words.

I sat down on the couch, beginning to strum my guitar. I remembered a few chords and lyrics from one of 5sos' songs.

So I drown it out

It's true, we were too young and too dumb to know things like love, but what we had was real. For two years we were happy.

The beginning of tour was when our arguments began to arise and it ruined our relationship.

I closed my eyes, remembering her scent and her laugh. It felt like she was there with me.
