The rain had stopped and I was seating on the platic chair inside a 7/11 convince store. I refused to go back to the dorm, and so we were seating here eating ramen. The kind soul on the counter noticed we were drenched wet and offered a towel. For only a few won.
The towel still lay on my shoulders, as Chan seats in front of me
"We need to go to Junhee's apartment" he finally says after drinking his whole cup. I place my cup down, and just stare outside of the store's window. The night had fallen and the full moon now shine on its reflection from the water puddles.
"...I don't think that's a great idea" my voice sound tired. I get up and grab the empty cup. Making my way outside, I toss it to the garbage bin outside. A cold breeze welcomes me, the towel is still on my shoulders
I feel a skinny hand grab mine, "just trust me ok...we need to go.!!" He says and tries to pull me towards the avenue, "I'll pay the taxi...lets just go" he keeps pulling me, my feet don't have the strength to refuse him and just let myself get pull to the taxi. I feel a thousand butterflies in my stomach. Not knowing what to expect, just a few hours ago he broke up with me and now Chan is taking me to his house
"Why are you in a hurry to see him...he doesn't want to see me Chan" I say my voice breaking, again the tears pour down my eyes
"Junyoung broke up with me today" Chan says his voice sounds expressionless. Dull. Sad.
I am taken back a little by this, I thought for sure they would never break up, they seemed so perfect together..."how are you?" That's all I can reply
"Like I am leaving inside a cruel nightmare", he replies and now I hold his hand, "but I deserved this.....he needs someone better than a fucking idiot like me" he says and his face is cover by his hands. I know he is trying to hold his tears.
"Maybe we should go back home Channie....Jun already said everything and you need a hot shower kid" I say and my voice almost orders the taxi driver to turn around, but he shakes his head
"No hyung....I can only imagine how you feel right now...we need to go" and I don't say anything. My heart had being broken so I had nothing else to lose.
We don't say much, so I make a dumb comment
"We're a couple of crying idiots" I say and he cracks a smile
"We're single because our men dumb our asses" he adds and I smile at him
"I feel like shit.!!" I say a bit louder
"Sameeee.!!" He adds and we both smile as tears start to pour down our eyes. I hold him and he cries on my chest. I feel my tears roll down and fall on top of his head. This is the first time I see my little brother this broken, and I hate it. How I wish he would never have to experience heart break.
We stay this way until the driver tell us we arrived at our destination
