I sat on the toilet looking at the pregnancy test. I sighed reading "negative" for the third time in the past few months. I felt myself getting emotional. I was ready more than ever to become a mother and since I lost my baby once I was ready to have that opportunity again. I was so scared it wouldn't happen for me again. Julian and I were in the process of planning our wedding. We were now settled in our beautiful home. My studio was doing well. It was now time for a baby Juju running around.

Theshaderoom: Congratulations to Sevyn Miller & Romelo Hill on their little bun in the oven.

I locked my phone getting up from the toilet. I needed to get off social media and stop letting it cloud my mind. I threw the pregnancy test in the trash pulling up my underwear. I washed my hands looking in the mirror. Today we were celebrating Julian and our engagement and also the celebration of his documentary. I finished the documentary and it will be on HBO sports. Julian Maxwell: The ONE. I was so excited that it was done. A year and a half ago I was his ex-best friend/photographer that was tired of the tension between us but now I'm his woman and it felt good. It feels surreal sometimes that my best friend is going to be my husband. I shut the bathroom door walking back in our bedroom to see his stylist Michal adjusting his cuffs. "You good baby? He asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," I said. He looked up glancing at me. "You look beautiful," he told me. "Thanks, babe" I sat on the edge of the bed staring at Michal get him together. "I'm so excited about tonight, I can't wait for the world to see me in a different light," he said. "Yeah, it's gonna be good," I said. I captured footage of a lot of sentimental and vulnerable moments of him especially when he passed out and him trying to get his confidence back. He didn't see anything but the trailer and I knew he was going to love it. "All done," Michal said. "Thanks, bro" Julian dapped him up. "No problem man, see you next week," he said. "Alright man," Julian said. He turned to me "You ready babe? He asked. "Mmhm" I turned around grabbing my jacket. "What's wrong? He asked. I turned back around looking at him while putting on my jacket. "Nothing, you ready for tonight? I asked trying to change the subject. "I'm very ready," he said. "Good" I began walking trying to walk in front of him but he stopped me. "I know when something's wrong with you woman," he said. I sighed "It's nothing really, I want it to be a great event," I said. He rubbed his chin hair "Me too, but you know nothing is going to be right until we address it. I can't have my baby upset ever" he said. I felt my heart melt GOD he was so attentive even as kids, he knew if something was up before I did. "I took another pregnancy test and it came back negative" I explained sitting on the edge of the bed. He sighed "Baby, I told you to stop taking them, it only leaves you upset. Look, if you feel like I pressured you in the past I'm sorry but don't beat yourself up" he walked in front of me. "I know its just everything is going great. I know you want a baby-

"You know Sevyn and Romelo are having a baby? I asked him. I felt like ever since we've gotten together we've gotten nothing but bad karma. Julian looked shocked "Congratulations to them, but you gotta stop comparing yourself, baby. It ain't our time right now. Our lives are still getting started were young as hell" he said.

She covered her eyes "I'm scared" she said. It saddened me that she was stressing over this. I hovered over top of her moving her hand. "Babe," I said

"Stop crying, you're gonna ruin your makeup," I said kissing her cheek. "Honey I love you, don't worry about it. Let's focus on us... the baby will come along" I said. She moved her head to the side. I kissed her cheek, she moved her face to the right side and I added a kiss. She began laughing "You just want these kisses, relax mama," I said as she wiped her eyes. "We got all the time in the world to make a baby and trust me, Imma make time" I playfully humped her. "Julian stop" she laughed. "You know two months ago you claimed we weren't ready for a baby now you want one. Why the change of heart? I asked helping her stand up. "It's just the way you treat me, the way you love, the way you treat strangers. Any child deserves to have you as a father and I want you to experience being a dad just as much as I want to experience being a mother" she admitted. I felt so warm inside a nigga was about to cry. "Aww baby," I said wrapping my hands around her waist. "Thank you for that, my love" I pecked her forehead. "Your welcome," She said. "Now come on let's go," I said
