Chapter 1: School...yaaay

Percy Pov:

Yay! The first day of school. Can you hear the sarcasm? Cuz there is a LOT of sarcasm.

I hate school but my soulmate seems to enjoy it. My owl, book, and backpack tattoos make that quite obvious.

Anyways. Time to go to school! I have to pick up my cousins on the way.

I have 4 cousins:

Thalia Grace: She is blank, has been her entire life and she doesn't care about soulmates anyways.

Jason Grace: He has a tattoo of a feather on his neck and another tattoo of a cool looking dagger next to it.

Hazel Levesque: She has cool tattoos of a falcon and a bear. The falcon is on one arm and the bear is on the other. She also has a tattoo of China on her shoulder that goes up on her neck.

And last but not least, Nico di Angelo, the small emo! He is blank too. I think he cares about soulmates but lost hope of ever getting one. Kinda sad really.

I eat my blue pancakes and head out to pick up Jason, Thalia, and Nico. Hazel likes to ride her bike to school for exercise so I don't have to pick her up.

Piper Pov:

I get out of my car and see a punk looking girl and three guys get out of an expensive looking car.

"Pipes, do you know those people?" My friend Annabeth asks me, pointing to the group I was just looking at.

"Not at all! Lets go say hi." I say as I drag her to the group. "Hello there. I am Piper and this is Annabeth." I greet.

Wow. The blonde dude is actually really hot up close. Don't blush Piper, keep calm.

"Hi there." The girl says, "I'm Thalia, these idiots are my cousins Percy and Nico, and my brother Jason." She states while pointing to each boy in turn.

"It is nice to meet you." Annabeth says, shaking Thalia's hand while I laugh at the boys' reactions to Thalia calling them idiots.

"Sparky and death boy are the idiots, not me!" Percy shouts. Sparky gets my attention though, my hand finds itself rubbing the lightning bolt tattoo hidden by my sleeve.

"Percy, you and Jason are the idiots" The little emo- I mean Nico speaks up "Seaweed brain you only eat blue food and Sparky tried giving himself a soulmate tattoo with a stapler."

I see Annabeth's eyes widen but I am too distracted by something else to ask her why.

Stapler? Like the little staple tattoo next to my lightning bolt? He also has glasses, one of my tattoos is a pair of glasses that look just like Jason's.

"Shut up Nico!" Jason shouts as he pulls Nico close and ruffles his hair. Thalia and Annabeth laugh and watch as Nico attempts to escape Jason's grasp.

Jason, could you be my soulmate?
