Luke's POV
I get to Callie's and before I even made it to the sort she runs outside and jumps in my arms crying her little heart out! I can't stand to see her like this, I wanna break that Cody kids face in for hurting her like this! I knew all along he wasn't good for her but I never said anything because I didn't want to ruin our friendship.
"L-Luke!" She manages to get out as I carry her back into her house
"Yeah Callie?" I ask, concerned
"Can y-you stay with m-m-me tonight?" She asks through sobs while I wipe tears off her face with my thumb
"Of course! I wouldn't want to leave you alone all night with a broken heart!" I say. She smiles a little and hugs me again
"There's that smile!!" I say excitedly and she laughs a little. I really want to tell her how I feel but I don't know if I should with how heartbroken she is. Maybe later? We go upstairs to her room and she sets down on her bed as I set in her chair by the window. As always.
"Lukey?" She says. I love when she calls me that. See we have nicknames for eachother, she calls me lukey and I call her callie bear. We are the only ones allowed to call eachother that!
"Yeah Callie bear?" I say while turning my head to look at her.
She puts her head down and plays with her thumbs. I can tell she's nervous about whatever she's about to tell me.
