The soles of Jungkook's feet ached as Yoongi chased after him with his old and ragged sneakers. He wasn't stopping for anything, regardless of the pain that shot through his body. Jungkook tripped over his own laces as he plummeted into the busy town.

"I need your help!"
Jungkook frantically begged a
woman, standing by her daughter.

The mother grabbed onto her daughters hand, tugging her away from him. Jungkook grabbed a handful of his hair, running towards another group of younger kids.

"Hey—" Jungkook startled the kids, as blood flowed from his stomach. "I n-need help, please."

One of the boys glanced at his brothers, before taking Jungkook's hand. He rushed him into an old, broken down house, laying Jungkook on the dirty mattress.

"Mother!"
The young boy and his brothers surrounded
the wounded boy, biting their finger nails.

"Oh dear—what happened?"
The woman dropped the flower pot in
her hand, rushing to Jungkook's side.

"I-I was stabbed b-by a villager."
Jungkook shut his eyes as she
pressed a cloth against his open gash.

"What?"
She widened her eyes, surprised that a
villager living in the same town as her
children, would do something like this.

"H-he has the princess."
Jungkook barely whispered.

The woman slowly dropped the rag, lowering her brows. "Did you just say he has the princess—the missing p-princess?"

"Y-yes." Jungkook coughed out, what looked like blood. "He's holding her ransom."

"Who? Who's holding her hostage?"
She repeatedly asked, panicking at the thought.

"I d-don't know his name, b—

"Mommy, there's a man at the door."
One of the boys shouted from outside the room.
