Tessa sat on her bed thinking about the guy that she can never have when Grace walks in. 

"Hey Tess. Whatcha up to?"

"Just hanging out and thinking."

"About?"

She looked down and sighed.

"Oh no. Not again. Michael, really?" Grace said exasperated.

"I know. I know." 

"I don't know why I like him so much but I do. He is brave, sweet, considerate and let's face it, he's hot in a cute dorky way." Tessa thought.

Just then Abi runs in and says "Hey guys, we're doing a girls day."

"Any special occasion?" Grace asks.

"Well Michael and Taylor broke up."

"Really?!-" Tessa said a little so cheerfully that she had to act super sad "-why?" 

"Well Taylor didn't want to say." 

"Oh that's fine. Anywho I gotta run. I'll meet you guys later." Tessa said walking out.

"3pm at the cars!" Abi shouted at the fleeing Tessa.

Tessa looked all around for Michael. She finally found him sitting next to the pond looking into the water. 

"Hey." Tessa said shyly.

"Hi. I take it you heard?" Michael said sorrowfully.

"Whaaaaaat? Yeah...." Tessa said looking down.

"Do you want to know what went down?" 

"Not unless you wanna talk about it."

"Well I think we've both fallen for other people."

"Oh really?" 

"Yeah, she likes Bryan."

"But Bryan is an idiot." Tessa said confused.

"He's gotten better."

"I'm sorry Michael." 

"Don't be. I found someone else too so nobody really hurt someone else."

"Oh yeah."

They both sat in silence until Tessa asked, "Are you gonna tell me who you like?"

Michael smirked. "Why would I make it that easy on you?"

"Shut up." Tessa said with a playful punch.

"Ouch! My arm is shattered." Michael said bumping his shoulders with her's.

"You're so annoying." Tessa said rolling her eyes.

"I like you Tessa."

Tessa was caught off guard. "I'm sorry, what?" She said sticking her neck out.

Michael looked into her eyes. "I like you."

"Are you serious?"

He chuckled. "Yes, I am. Now are you gonna say how you feel or leave me to suffer?" He said with a raised eyebrow.

"Definitely suffer. Gotta catch me." Tessa said standing up and running off.

"Hey! Tess! Wait up!" Michael said scrambling to get up. 

Tessa ducked behind some hay and tried to stay quiet.

"Teeeeessssaaaa." Michael called out.

"BOO!" Michael shouted from on the hay.

Tessa screamed.

Michael wrapped his arms around Tessa from behind and said, "I got ya so tell me." 

Tessa turned around in Michael's arms and giggled. "I like you too dork."

"That's comforting." Michael said sticking his tongue out. 

She stuck her's out in response.

Michael gave her a kiss and took her hand in his.
