I was lucky that my shift today was a short one, and I could go home before midnight.

Theo was still at the hospital. I guess I was going over to his home soon, to spend the night. I really didn't know what to expect from it. All I wanted was just to be comforted by him.

After having changed out of my scrubs, I arrived on the floor which Daniel was on, my plan being to chat with him a bit until I went on to find Theo.

I had agreed to go to his place, wanting to be with him and talk. I needed him to know how the hate I had been getting was affecting me. Besides, tomorrow I had only a few classes in the early afternoon, which meant there wasn't too much to do except study.

As I neared the hospital room in which Daniel was, my steps slowed down and my brows furrowed. There were nurses gathered by the open door, giggling and whispering with excitement.

"What's going on?" I was asking one of the nurses, before I managed to get a glimpse of what was happening inside.

"It's Theo Black!" one of the women whisper-yelled, extremely giddy.

I discreetly managed to push my way through the women and towards the actual doorway of the room.

Theo was sitting on a chair by a table with Daniel on his wheelchair, also by the round coffee table.

Theo was showing him something from his phone, both chuckling at whatever it was. I watched as Daniel then began telling Theo something, his young voice clearly so enthusiastic and star-struck.

One of the nurses beside me took a picture of the two with a flash. Theo glanced up at this, not too pleased with it but not wanting to say anything with Daniel in the midst of an exciting story.

His eyes suddenly landed on me, and he smiled, "Scarlett, hey! Join us."

Daniel looked up and beamed, before motioning for me to step inside, "yeah, Scarlett!"

I heard of a few murmurs travelling through the group of curious nurses before I managed to squeeze my way past them and inside the hospital room.

"Close the door behind you, would you, love?" Theo added, nodding once at the women still drooling over this whole situation behind me.

"Sure," I nodded, speaking quietly. I avoided all the women and the looks they were giving me as I closed the door, leaving Theo, Daniel and me alone.

"What are you two up to?" I gave the two a small smile and sat down next to Daniel and his wheelchair.

"I spent like five minutes flirting with one the nurses so she'd tell me where Daniel was," Theo explained, grinning knowingly at me. Some part of that mischevious grin told me he did this for me; I had gushed about this adorable football fanatic to him a while back, and now here Daniel was, meeting his idol.

"Oh, wow," I laughed gently before directing my attention at the excited kid, "has Theo been nice to you, Daniel?"

"Yes! We watched the end of the England-versus-Colombia game," he explained, eyes shining with such childlike wonder.

"Nice," I gave him a smile, knowing Theo was watching me intently, "who won?"

"We did!" Daniel grinned, high-fiving Theo.

"Ah, obviously," I nodded, now returning Theo's gaze, "my shift ended, should we be leaving? It's getting late, I'm sure Daniel, your mother wants you to get to sleep soon."

"I can stay up pretty late, though," he boasted to Theo, who nodded understandingly. It was adorable to watch, and I couldn't stop smiling.

"Scarlett's like a 90-year-old woman," Theo then informed Daniel, nudging him and discreetly nodding over at me, "she goes to sleep at like 7 PM."
