I woke up with a throbbing headache. But I didn't know where I was. It felt like I was laying on some type of bed or something. I could hear voices but I couldn't make out what any of them were saying, and none of them sounded familiar either. Once my eyes adjusted to the bright lights I could see my mom sitting in a chair next to the bed I was laying in. She looked over at me with red eyes. "Hey mom." I said. My voice was shaky. "Hello sweetheart. How are you feeling?" She asked trying to hide that she was crying. "I'm ok. My head hurts a lot." "It's ok baby, everything's gonna be ok." She said rubbing my hand with her thumb. "I'll be right back sweetie ok." She gets up out of her chair and walks out of the room. A few minutes later Colby walks in with my mom. Colby walked over to me and sat in the chair my mom was sitting in. He grabbed my hand and rubbed it with his thumb. "Hey.."
