Calum: Making you smile is embarrassingly easy when Calum is around. He has a way with words and actions when it comes to you that ease you into comfort and well-being. Even when you’re upset, his body moving towards yours and protectively enveloping yours makes a smile appear on your lips instantly.
Michael: His main goal generally is to always see you happy, so even when you’re on the other side of the room he’ll make a silly face in your direction or stick out his tongue just to see a smile appear on your lips when your eyes lock or just to see you throw your head back in laughter. Since your smile is his favorite trait, he’ll go out of his way to make jokes or show you funny videos that he knows will amuse you. That way, any second you spend with him is a second spent smiling or laughing.
Ashton: “Smile, please. Smile for me,” he’ll whisper into your ear eventually after you’ve cried or spent your day telling him what made you upset. He always listened and he always let you get out your emotions, but then he’d make your smile his main objective. Eventually you’d look up at him and smile, even if it felt like more of a grimace, but it gave him hope that you’d be okay and that he’d always be the one who could cheer you up, no matter how terrible you felt.
Luke: He usually made you smile by touching you in any way. A lot of your relationship was physical - not sexual, but you often communicated through comforting touches rather than words. He’d make you smile by tickling you slightly or even just rest his hand on your hip and rubbing small circles with his thumb while you both sat in a room full of people, listening to someone talk. It made you smile because even if he was completely engrossed in something else, a part of you was still paying attention to you.
