Mickel and I walked into the cafeteria together holding hands. He waited until we got to our usual table to kiss me on the cheek in front of everybody.

"Aww! Y'all are so cute!" A random girl passing by us squealed.

I politely smiled at her, looking over at Mickel. He kissed me on my neck. "Babe...stop. We're around people."

"Fuck them." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes, turning my back towards him and looking for Lisa and Keone.

Mickel kept kissing me on my neck. "Would you quit that babe?" I giggled.

Eventually Lisa and Keone showed up at the table.

"Hey y'all." Lisa huffed, sitting down at the table.

"Hey." Mickel and I said in unison.

While him and Keone dapped each other up, I moved closer to Lisa.

"Girl...so let me put you on about this stupid bitch." Lisa spoke.

"Who?" I asked.

"Harper's bad body ass." Lisa said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah girl she's been acting strange. Real strange. I mean...I don't get it. We used to be friends, you know." I mumbled.

Both Lisa and I looked up at the same time. There Harper was walking into the cafeteria with Saint in her arm.

She looked over at me smiling and winking. Then they both sat down at their own table, far from us and by the window.

"Pause..." Lisa said. "Isn't that-"

"Mmhm, Saint and Harper." I huffed.

"Are they talking?" Lisa asked in confusion.

"That's a good question." I answered.

I stood up, making my way over to them. I approached them with a smile.

"Girl what're you doing?" Lisa asked.

I ignored her, sitting across from Harper and Saint.

"Hey guys. Why don't you sit with us?" I asked.

"Yeah. That's sounds like a good idea. Can we please join them?" She asked, facing Saint.

Saint barely made eye contact with me. Ge seemed embarrassed about something. But all he did was shake his head no.

"Saint why? Those are my friends." She pouted. "I mean...you already know Cassie so..."

Saint looked up at me, giving me a small smile but you could tell he still didn't want to sit with us. I understood the fears of being the new kid in a new school. I guess it was a good thing that he took a shining to Harper. They were cute together.
