"So do we have a budget when we get in the store," Keith asked as I parked the car.

We were about to go grocery shopping because I was having a housewarming get together, not a party since it's been a while since I seen my family and closest friends.

"Get what you need but don't be niggas and do the most. Money doesn't grow on trees," I said turning off the car.

"Ok so Halle and I will share a cart and Paige and Keith will share a cart," Chloe said and I immediately shut that idea down.

"Why? I like that idea," Paige said.

"It's only right ma. Chloe and Halle are vegans while Paige and I are normal and you got Blue," Keith said as we walked into the store.

I sighed, "Take this hundred dollars and get out my face. Chloe and Halle stay together and Paige stay with your brother. Understood?" I said giving Chloe & Halle $100 and Keith & Paige $100.

"Yes," they all said in unison and disappeared throughout the store.

I shook my head and laughed, they were so spoiled. I put my baby Blue into the cart and began grocery shopping for important things.

"I am so sorry," a girl who looked about 15 years old said as she ran into my cart.

"It's fine," I smiled.

"Tiana watch where you going," a familiar voice said to the girl.

I looked up and there he was, my baby father, Terrence Jenkins. It's been ten years and seeing his face makes me want to throw up right here on the floor of this grocery store. I hate him. He makes me sick to my stomach. This nigga has hurt me in so many ways.

"What a surprise to see you," I said uneasily.

"Beyonce," he said in a shocking tone, "You're here... In Houston."

"I just moved back but, I'm not in much of a talking mood so I'm gonna go," I said trying to end the conversation. I really didn't want to speak to him. He has done nothing for me except give me my kids.

I began pushing the cart but he grabbed my arm to stop me.

"Don't touch me, Terrence," I said angrily.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to ask about our kids," he said throwing his hands up in defense.

"MY kids are always gonna be straight as long as they're with me."

"Everything good ma?" Keith asked walking up to us looking Terrence up and down. I hoped and prayed Keith didn't recognize his father but I knew for sure Terrence recognized him after all these years.

"Go find your sisters so we can go," I said with an attitude.

"Beyoncé don't be like that they're my kids too," Terrence said.

"You are full of shit Terrence, I can't believe you can just stand here and act like everything is good. It's been ten years! Ten fucking years, Terrence! I don't owe you anything," I said angrily. I hated that he was acting like nothing happened like we're all good because we're not.

"Baby I've been loo— Beyoncé."

"Of course she's here," I chucked, "Goodbye Terrence," I said before walking away.

After we got all the groceries paid for we headed back home and began unpacking.

"Did she go back to sleep when you laid her down?" I asked Keith.
