"Aw, was my kissing that bad?" Chresanto asked as he rubbed my back with his hand, he used the other to hold my hair away from my face.

I held up a slightly shaking hand as I took a deep breath.

Once I collected myself, I leaned back into the car and closed the door.

I looked at Chresanto and shook my head a little; finally answering his question.

"The medication then?"

I nodded.

I had the nasty aftertaste of vomit in my mouth and I couldn't stand it.

I managed to turn around and I reached into the front of the car and found my bag, I slipped out my packet of gum and I slid a piece out, took off the paper, and put it in my mouth.

I sat back and Chresanto looked at me.

I ran my hand through my hair and closed my eyes. I was hot.

"Want me to take you home now?" He asked curiously.

I nodded.

>>*<<

Sorry that I ruined the kiss by getting sick.

Chresanto chuckled, "it's okay, I just hope you feel better".

Yeah, me too.

It's only my second day on Zoloft and it's already messing me up.

"Your body'll get used to it eventually" he said.

I nodded.

You're right. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow.

"Yeah, tomorrow" he replied before kissing my forehead, "bye".

Bye.

I stepped on to my porch and fished my house keys from my bag.

I unlocked the door and walked into the house, I quietly closed the door behind me and looked around.

The living room lights were on.

I knew they'd be waiting.

I walked into the living room and saw my mom and dad sitting on the couch.

"Where have you been?" My dad asked curiously.

I had detention, and once that was over; I was with Chresanto.

"And why'd you have detention?"

For smacking a girl during lunch.

"Bria, why in the world would you smack someone?" My mom asked in confusion, "you've never smacked someone before".

Well there's a first for everything.

Don't say that to her.

I'm not.

I shrugged a little.

The person I smacked doesn't like me because I took Chresanto away from her. Some things were said, from her of course. I can't talk. Anyway, she was saying things like 'I bet you won't say it to my face' or 'go cry in your boyfriend's arms. Oh, wait, you can't. He's dead' and that's just when I slapped her. Then we got into this fight and the principal came and yeaah, detention.

My mom shook her head a little, "I don't even know what to say to you right now".

I wiped the words from my whiteboard and stood there.

"You better be glad that you were let off easy, Bria" my dad stated.

I am.

"This type of stuff goes on your record".

I know.

"Go up and get ready for bed, okay?" My mom suddenly stated.

I nodded and left out of the room, I began to walk up the stairs but stopped.

"I think it's just the medicine" I heard my mom say, "both the doctor and the psychiatrist said it would change her mood. You and I both know that she'd never do that if she wasn't on the antidepressant".

"I think you're right" my dad responded quietly.

I sighed and walked up the stairs and to my room.

I placed my bag by the door and sat on my bed.

"Hey, look who's finally home!" Ray said as he walked into my room.

I looked at him.

"Where were you? I thought you only had detention for an hour?"

I did, I was with Chresanto afterwards.

"Oh, what'd y'all do?"

I shook my head a little.

Nothing really. We just sat in the back of his car and talked.

"Oh, that was it?" He asked curiously.

We may or may not have kissed.

He looked at me.

And I may or may not have thrown up in the grass.

He chuckled, "wait, what?"

I got sick while kissing him. My medication isn't really the best, Rayan.

"Ah, okay".

Yeaaah.

"It'll get better" he said as he laid on the floor.

Yeah, hopefully sooner than later.
