Gone to the market down the lane, I'll be safe – B

Emily tucked the note away into her jean's pocket, proceeding to tie her hair up in a ponytail before taking a package wrapped in brown paper out from the burgundy satchel. It had been weeks since Remus gave it to her when he spoke to Jalia, even when the Potter twin woke up, just looking at it brought her dread and anxiety.

Eventually, she had to put an end to it and open the box. Emily reckoned that it was more important than it led on since Jalia Wedlow popped out of nowhere to bring it to Hogwarts. From the edge of the bed, a huge yawn came out that sent a waft of tear-jerking morning breath to Emily's eyes. She took a handful of the comforter and threw it over Daphne's face, "Good morning."

"I think I have whiplash." The girl groaned over the sheets, "My neck is killing me." Yesterday when they had purchased a car, it was Emily who drove them to Warminster where they found a secluded inn just on the banks of the countryside. She was not the greatest driver, but Emily did make excellent time. And after the fifth speed bump they had encountered, she learned how to control the gas pedal.

"I can make you a neck brace out of a towel," Emily said, removing the brown paper from the box. "How does that sound, Greengrass?"

Daphne slowly sprouted out from the mass of white blankets and pillows, carefully running a hand through her hair. "No thanks, nurse." Her eyes fell on the shallow cardboard box in her friend's hand, her curiosity reaching it's peak. "Is that the thing?"

"Yeah."

It was only last night that Emily told Daphne and Blaise about the conversation with Viktor Krum. Daphne had her reservations about it, she was doubtful of the organization that the Bulgarian and the French had formed. Emily hoped that whatever the box contained would give them answers to what Jalia and Viktor were trying to say.

Emily removed the lid and saw immediately that the box contained a chunk of photographs and a note. She unfolded it and saw that it had been written by no other than Ray Philipps:

Em,

I hope you are alive and well. You have my sincerest apologies and gratitude for what I'm about to tell you will rest in your hands. Over the years, my father and I have been touring Europe in the hopes that we can escape Voldemort and his people. It's not only me that has been on his list of potential recruits, but as well as many young half-breeds all over the continent.

It was with a heavy heart that I had to leave my father in Norway, but I had to do it to find and protect people such as myself. There aren't only half-breeds, but also people that have openly protested against the so-called ministry and Voldemort.

I can't tell you where the others are, mainly because they live nomadic lifestyles and are always on the go. They will find you though, so that'll lessen your troubles. I need you to teach them the magic that you know will help them fight against Voldemort, and in return, they will also teach you and your friends. They are a group of remarkable people, and I have no doubt that they will be a breath of fresh air when you meet them. They are all of age, and they want to fight by your side.

Enclosed with this letter are photographs of the people you'll be meeting soon. I'd like to say now that you have no reason to be alarmed, especially when I've written important details about them on each picture.

I'll see you soon – R

Daphne picked up the topmost photograph in the box, Emily scooted closer to her and saw a rather intimidating dark-haired girl staring right back at her. The girl had wavy dark-brown hair that had been weaved into a braid, her eyes were a pitch-black pit that seemed to look like a bottomless pit. Emily took the photograph and turned it over, reading the information listed. "Her name's Martina – from Spain, pureblood father, deceased mother that was a – Erm, well this is certainly new." She squinted harder the writing as if it would help her comprehend it. "Her mother was a Southeast Asian vampire that feeds on fetuses... Martina, however, did not inherit any of her mother's abilities aside from her inhumane strength and enhanced senses. She's also 20 years old."
