"What prevents my brother from murdering you all instead of cooperating?" Elijah questioned and the Petrova Hybrid turned to the witches with a raised eyebrow.
Sophie sighed and picked a pin from her pocket, holding it up for both Elijah and Maddie to see before she pricked her finger. "Ow! What the hell?" Hayley exclaimed, holding up her bleeding finger, which was identical to Sophie's.
"The spell my sister performed, the one that got her killed, it didn't just confirm the pregnancy. It linked me to Hayley. So anything that happens to me happens to her, which means her life is in my hands." Sophie explained, putting down the pin.
"Klaus may not care about his own child, but it's very clear what it already means to you. If I have to hurt Hayley or worse to ensure that I have your attention, I will." Sophie then threatened and Maddie laughed silently as she looked at Elijah expectantly.
"You dare threaten an Original?"
"I have nothing to lose. You have until midnight to get Klaus to change his mind, so I suggest you get that one person who can deal with Klaus down here as fast as you can." Sophie stated and Maddie crosses her arms.
"Are you gonna tell her, or am I?" Maddie joked causing the Original Vampire to roll his eyes before Maddie's phone rang.
"You go ahead." Maddie dismissed before the oldest living Mikaelson speed away, leaving Maddie to pick up her phone.
"Isaac, is this you accidentally butt dialing me again?" Maddie questioned when she heard a sigh in response. "No Maddie, the pack actually needs your help." Isaac stated and Maddie scratched the back of her neck.
"Okay, what's happening?" Maddie asked, wanting to know what she was getting herself into. "You remember when Allison, Scott and Stiles died and came back? I think those consequences are really setting in." Isaac stated before looking at Allison and Lydia, the arrow still in his hand.
"What do you mean? Is there anyone else with you?" Maddie questioned, as she heard another set of breathing.
"Yeah, Scott's here. I'm sorry, but it was urgent. Scott overheard the Sheriff talking to Melissa on the phone about sleeping droughts for Stiles this morning. He said Stiles has been having nightmares." Isaac stated and Maddie sighed.
"I can get there in about two hours at most, just let me sort out something here, okay?" Maddie asked, and Isaac nodded. "Yep, see you soon. Bye Mads."
"Bye Bitch."

"He's willing to give up everything." Elijah stated, as he was on a three way call between his little sister and his sister figure.
"Come on, Elijah. Does that really surprise you?" Rebekah questioned and Maddie rolled her eyes as she packed a few bags.
"I can already see it. He's spiraling. He's lashing out in blind rage. You know, the last time I saw him like this, it lasted 200 years." Elijah informed and Maddie shook her head. "Yeah, I think he knows I'm not going to let him lose his rocker for 200 years." Maddie stated.
"Even then, both of you should leave him to his temper tantrum and come home. With any luck, this misadventure will allow us a reprieve from all of his insanity." Rebekah tried but she knew there was no use.
"It was so close. When he heard the baby's heartbeat, I could see it in his eyes. He wanted it. He could almost taste happiness, and now his temper has destroyed it. Even if I was to return him to sanity, he just lost Marcel's trust. So I'm almost out of time to get the girl." Elijah stated and Maddie's eyes widened in realisation.
"Get her? Have you lost your mind? Are we running an orphanage now?" Rebekah exclaimed but Maddie could almost see Elijah rolling his eyes through the phone.
"Say what you will about Niklaus, but on my life, I'm not letting anything happen to that baby." Elijah said and Maddie sighed. "Elijah, you try and hold of the witches, I'll try and find Nik." Maddie ordered before ending the call.

"Have I not made clear my desire to be left alone?" Klaus questioned and Maddie shrugged. "Not when you were the one who showed up in my apartment. I assume you know why I'm here." The Petrova Hybrid stated, taking a seat next to the Original Hybrid.
"Why must you and Elijah keep harping on about the baby? That child will never be born. In fact, Hayley is probably dead already." Klaus mused standing up to walk away, but Maddie grimaced And grabbed the man's arm.
"Hey! You will not walk away from this, Nik!" Maddie exclaimed but the Original Hybrid wanted nothing to do with it. "Let me go." He ordered but the girl shook her head.
"No. Klaus, you have been given a chance that some vampires would kill for and you want to throw it away! My baby and your baby, they aren't just loopholes, they're gifts." Maddie stated and when Klaus shook his head, Maddie knew she almost had him. He walked over, sitting back down with a sigh.
"You're beyond pathetic, young witch." Klaus stated and Maddie shrugged. "Who's more pathetic, the one neglecting his child and baby momma or the baby momma who's trying to grow a home for her child?" Maddie asked and Klaus shook his head.
"I haven't cared about anything for centuries." Klaus dismissed and Maddie laughed causing the Original Hybrid to look at her.
"That's bullshit and we both know that. You care for your family and as much as you push them away, you push me away, we will come back. You made a promise to Elijah and Rebekah, you promised always and forever. And I promised you I wouldn't let you do anything stupid." Maddie reminded and Klaus laughed.
"You are a fool." Klaus mused and Maddie smiled. "No, I'm the Petrova Hybrid and you're the Original Hybrid. These titles give us a responsibility to be powerful beyond imagination but even I know that the greatest power is unconditional love." The girl spoke, her hand on her stomach.
"You have my loyalty, and Elijah's and Rebekah's, as much as she hates to admit it. We are your family and you can never waiver from the power of that bond, even when it is tested. The bond we all have, gives us strength. Without that power, we have nothing." She continued and Klaus stated quiet as he looked around.
"This town was my home once, and in my absence, Marcel has got everything I ever wanted Power, loyalty, family. I made him in my image, and he has bettered me. I want what he has. I want it back. I want to be King." Klaus stated and Maddie sighed.
"So is that all this child means to you, a grab for power?" Maddie questioned and Klaus raised an eyebrow. "What does it mean to you?" The Original Hybrid asked and Maddie smiled.
"I think your child can offer you the one thing that you've never believed you had." Maddie shrugged leaving Klaus confused. "And what's that?" He questioned and Maddie looked up at her brother figure. "The unconditional love of family." Maddie stated, placing a hand on Klaus's as he stared at the two hands.
"Tell Sophie Deveraux we have a deal." Klaus sighed and Maddie smiled. "I'll ring Elijah."
