"Niklaus, listen." Elijah tried before it went quiet. Maddie closed her eyes, listening closely before she heard three heartbeats. One was closer to her, the smallest bit louder than the other two. She knew one of them was Hayley's and the other one....the other one was her child.

Maddie's eyes snapped open as she looked to Klaus who clenched his jaw before turning to the Deveraux witch. "Kill her and the baby. Why do I care?" The Original Hybrid stormed off and Hayley scoffed.

"Screw this, I'm out of here!" Hayley exclaimed, going to leave when a witch grabbed her arm, causing Maddie to slap the witch's hand away. "Touch her again, I dare you." Maddie warned and the witch just took a step back in surrender.

"No one touches the girl. I'll fix this." Elijah stayed before turning to Maddie. "I'll stay here with Hayley. I think the little witch bitch and I need to have a little chat." Maddie smiled, seeing a brief flash of fear wash over Sophie's face as fast as it was gone.

Elijah just nodded and sped away as Maddie turned to Sophie with a sarcastic smile, causing Sophie to look at her. "Could we have a moment alone?" Maddie asked and Sophie turned to the witches and nodded. They went to grab Hayley, but Maddie placed her hand up, her eyes not leaving Sophie's.

"The Pregnant werewolf stays here." Maddie ordered and the witches nodded, hurrying away before Maddie tilted her head, examining the girl in front of her. Sophie stood as confident as one could be, standing in front of the Petrova Hybrid.

"You know, Elijah said you told him you have nothing to lose. And you're a very convincing actress, but even you can't help the desperation in your voice. You don't want Marcel dead, you need something from him." Maddie stated and the more she picked Sophie's facade apart, the more nervous the witch became.

"And the reason I know this is because the act you have on is how I act when my family is in trouble. I will find out what you're hiding and, so help me, if you ever threaten my family or my friends again, I will come for you. And you can tell the Devil, I said hi." Maddie promised before turning to Hayley with an innocent smile.

"So two pregnant werewolves walked into a cemetery-" Maddie stayed but was cut off when Hayley rolled her eyes and pulled the girl into a hug. "God, I missed you." Hayley laughed and Maddie hugged back. "I missed you too." Maddie smiled before the two let go of each other.

"I hope you know we're both fucked." Maddie stated and the werewolf sighed. "Yeah, I kinda figured that much when I was literally tied up in the middle of the bayou." Hayley scoffed and Maddie snorted.

"Yeah, well I'm a supposed college student who's pregnant and working in a bar." The Petrova Hybrid updated and the werewolf shrugged. "Yeah, mine's still worse." Hayley pointed out and Maddie laughed.

"Yeah, probably."

"Marcel and his vampires are out of control, something had to be done." Sophie Deveraux defended herself as she, her coven, Maddie and Hayley stood around. "And the solution is to bring in more vampires?" An older witch, Agnus, questioned with a doubtful tone.

"These aren't just any vampires, Agnus! They're the Originals! Not to mention, we have the Petrova Hybrid standing right there." Sophie stated and Maddie smirked as she felt eyes on her causing her to look up and wink.

"What makes you think you can control the Hybrids?" Agnus asked, and Maddie's smirk widened as she felt Elijah's presence join them. "You can't. I'm not entirely sure I can either. Klaus will only listen to one person when he's like this. But now that your coven has drawn his ire, I have a question." The Oldest living Mikaelson asked and Maddie hummed as the witches nodded in encouragement.
