Subject: Investigative Report Summary.
I received knowledge of the case known as the "Pine Street Incident" on the 28th of January 2011, an event which included several unusual and paranormal occurrences, the most prominent of which was the appearance of an apartment complex on Pine Street, Madison that appeared to have imploded, leaving a void area of inaccessible and uninhabitable land (please see attached the Internal Memorandum and my Preliminary Reports Summary dated 12th February 2011 for details). During the course of the investigation, I also uncovered three related paranormal events occurring within the week preceding the apparition that was the central focus of the Pine Street Incident. The common denominator to all these events were that they were handled by the Esoteric Division, a secret yet seemingly independent branch of the Paranormal Division composed almost entirely of supernatural entities. My assignment was to investigate their records for the true cause (and resolution) of these events.
My investigation was stalled in the earlier phases by several bureaucratic protocols and the concurrent internal audits by the Esoteric Division's chief personnel. However, with the declassification of the relevant documents, I gained insight into the exact nature of the incident through their Containment reports. There were three separate apparitions which occurred between August 27 and October 31 2010. All three were destroyed by the Esoteric Division's strongest containment squad, comprised of Raphael Heath, Henry Delaney and Crystal (all Nephilim), with the subsequent inclusion of Landsteiner Jeffrey and Emma Hodge (transferred from the France-based supernatural agency "Les Evangelius"). Through the discrepancies between the happenings of their containment missions and the continued relay of the reports via a telepathic link, I was able to deduce that the Esoterics had been infiltrated by a double agent, a long-forgotten deity of the ancient desert tribes of Africa named Magreb.
During Magreb's interrogation, she shed light on the true purpose of the apparitions through repeated references to the Chief of Operations, the Fallen Angel Mosadiel (operating under the Pseudonym 'Albert Moses'). The paranormal activities were intended to attract the involvement of the Esoteric Division, while the apparitions were otherworldly constructs designed as a sort of memory trap for the Esoteric Nephilim agent Crystal, who was revealed to have been birthed as part of a grand apocalyptic scheme by the banished Angel Lucifer and other Angels of Darkness. Crystal's involvement in this scheme had been foiled by the actions of Mosadiel; his research into the phenomena of Nexes and its subsequent application had been used to alter her memories, concurrently leading to the creation of Agent Henry Delaney (an artificial Nephilim). Crystal's traumatic memories, which were intended to psychologically derange her, had been transferred to Delaney, but the application of a prolonged 'sensory synch' hex during course of their last containment mission led to the return of those memories, causing Crystal to lose control of her destructive abilities and leading to the eventual implosion of the site.
The residue of the otherworldly occupation still exists on the area of the apparition because a site purification has not been conducted since the implosion (a task usually performed by The Order of the Gold and Rosy Cross (commonly referred to as 'Rosenkreutz') based in Germany, who were not participatory in the last mission after their involvement in the first two appeared to produce no results). This is the reason for its continued effects on both human and electronic devices within the vicinity (supernatural energies tend to have an adverse effect on electrical-based technology). I was informed by Raphael Heath that the Mages at Rosenkreutz were made aware of the situation, but are yet to respond.
This concludes my summary of the relevant findings from the investigation. Any additional details required should be available in my periodic progress reports.
