"Ah well ok than." Amber said.

Alex was looking at Devon hard as if trying to figure something out.

"Alex?"

"Mmm yea?" She said as she continued to stare at Devon.

"Something the matter?"

"Nothing you need to be worry about." Alex said sighing.

Nodding my head, I started eating my lunch.

After a couple of minutes of silence, I decide to speak up.

"So Alex...."

"Yea?" She asked.

"I was wondering. ..... can I have a phone?"

Skylar's Pov:

After the last bell of the day went off, I was in a hurry to finally go back to the Heaven's skies to tell my parents all about it.

As I was walking down the hallway, I made sure to keep my head held up high and walk with elegant, since I was raised that way. Of course boys continued to whistle at me.

I still wonder why they do that.

I was midway down the hallway when I heard my name being called.

Turning my head, I made sure to flip my hair over one shoulder.

It was Devon.

"Wow.. I mean hey um hey." He said.

Smiling, I tilted my head.

"Hello."

"Hey um hey, listen I know you don't have a phone but I just wanted to give you my phone number so you can have it." He said as he handed me a yellow sticky note.

Smiling, I took it and put it in my bookbag. I then turned back to look at Devon.

"Thank you."

He was about to speak when I heard my name being called again.

Looking over my shoulder, I noticed it was Alex.

"I have to go, she taking me home, but I'll talk to you soon."

"Yea ok, bye Skylar."

"Bye Devon." I said.

Holding onto his shoulder, I got on my tipy toes and give him a kiss on his cheek.

Smiling once more, I turned around and walked over to Alex.

As soon as I was next to Alex she opened her mouth to speak.

"What was that about?" She asked.

"I was telling him goodbye." I said with a smile.

Looking around I noticed someone was missing.

"Where's Amber?" I asked.

"She went home early, her husband called her since her child was crying and asking for her."

"Wow wait, Amber's a mom?" I asked.

We finally got outside the school building and were walking to the parking lot.

"Well yea, she met her mate a couple of years ago. She met him when she went on a trip on a cruise. Long story short, she got married three years ago when she got pregnant with his child. He was so happy, that he asked her to marry him and she said yes."

"Is he also an angel?" I asked once we got inside Alex's car.

"Yes, but his parents wanted to live a simple life so they stayed away from trouble. He really does deserve to be called the Angel of innocent."
