Chapter 75: Confronting the Enemies

"Nothing here belongs to you!" Edmund shouted at the man, losing his patience so unlike him.

The man slightly chuckled at such an answer and stepped forward:

"What belongs to me is my son..."

He raised his hand, walking towards Edmund when suddenly Goatee Bill jumped in between them and covered the boy. This latter blinked at such a brisk reaction of his uncle, while the New World Order Magister puckered and halted, shooting Goatee a hostile gaze.

"I will not give away Luna's son to anyone, and especially to the likes of you, Gustav," Bill sneered at him.

The man whom he called Gustav first raised an eyebrow and then faintly chuckled:

"Now look at us getting cocky... Do you plan to talk like that to a Jaeger Clan representative?"

"You are nothing more but an outcast, and a miserly Scorpio in Jaeger Clan's proud Libra Bearer rulers, so I see no one but you being a cocky one here!"

Hearing the words "miserly Scorpio in Jaeger Clan's proud Libra Bearer rulers", Gustav's blood boiled and he lost his calm demeanour all at once, thundering at a full voice:

"Attack!"

The New World Order members roared a battle cry and charged on.

"Brothers, Sisters, let's show them what Rose Cruce means!" Edmund yelled on his part and the Rose Cruce Order members instantly engaged in heavy battle.

"Leave your father to me and guide the others!" Goatee cried to Ed, "I have my personal business to settle with him!"

"Yes, Uncle!" Edmund left Goatee's side, ready to charge in a battle himself when suddenly Rick Mauriel, his very member, crossed his path. He widened eyes in stupefaction: "Rick, what gives?!" but Rick faintly chuckled and raised his right hand, showing that he had discharged of his Rose Cruce ring, and instead wore a golden ring with a pyramid and eye depictions. Edmund gasped: "You... traitor! You joined the New World Order?!"

Rick laughed.

"Wrong, 'Magister' Edmund. I did not join them. I was their member from the beginning!" he yelled an incantation: "Scorpio Style, Sneaker Art, Ninja Mode; Snake Spirit, Ring Twelve - Poisonous Water Snake!" he unleashed his Purple Snake spirit and dashed at Edmund.

"Ugh, you filthy snake!" Edmund yelled with rage and shouted his own incantation: "Libra Style, Keeper Art, Sage Mode; Rooster Spirit, Ring Twelve - White Gale Peacock!" his giant, splendid White Peacock spirit embraced him, and he charged in a battle with Rick.

Meanwhile, Goldmund was parrying various bandit attacks with his muse and Zodiac powers when he heard a familiar girly cackle. He widened eyes and looked aside, spotting Fiorette Wagner, who now wore a grey-gemmed, silver-chained Silver Mercury necklace. He gasped:

"Fiorette?!"

No way, she had become the Gemini Celestial Lady?!

"I see my sister's not here," Fiorette glanced around with an arrogant smile, "But no matter..." she then turned back to Goldmund, "I have things to settle with you too. After all, you stole my father's money!" she sneered and yelled an incantation: "Gemini Style, Sneaker Art, Ninja Mode; Mouse Spirit, Ring Twelve - Light Grey Demon Mouse!" she got engulfed in her Mouse spirit and attacked.

"It's not my fault your father couldn't see through my scam," Goldmund chuckled, "But fine, bring it on! Capricorn Style, Builder Art, Demigod Mode; Goat Spirit, Ring Twelve - Black Demon Goat of Hell: Baphomet!" he got embraced by a wrathful-looking, red-eyed, blackened Goat spirit - the supreme level of Goat spirits only Capricorns could achieve - Demon Goat Baphomet.

Fiorette widened eyes, but then sneered and shouted the 'Haze' incantation, bringing up her Sneaker Art mist, and charged in a fight against Goldmund's powerful spirit.

Byakuya and Kokuyo had already engaged in their respective battles, having unleashed their Black Desert Cobra and Red Fire Dragon spirits. Nick meanwhile confronted Yolanda Torres who was furiously smashing Rose Cruce members.

"Where is the Golden Venus Celestial Lady? I need to restore my dignity!" she heavily breathed with her nostrils like a raged bull.

"She is currently not here, but if you truly wish to restore your 'lost dignity', instead of picking on weaker people, why wouldn't you pick on someone of your own size?" she heard a calm but strict tone. She glared at Nick whom the voice belonged to.

"Who are you, brat?"

"Moon Celestial Lord, Nick Wingfield. Well, shall we begin?"

"Ah, another Celestial Lord? Well, this is surely interesting... If I defeat you I will defeat Danielle Schatzen too!" she unleashed her powers: "Taurus Style, Defender Art, Guardian Mode; Ox Spirit, Ring Twelve - Boulder Demon Ox!"

"Cancer Style, Keeper Art, Sage Mode - Defender Mimics; Ox Spirit, Ring Twelve - Shell Demon Ox!" Nick got engulfed in a massive Blue Ox spirit covered with resistant shells. "I'll fight you with Defender Mimics of mine so that the duel could be more or less equal, as we are fellow Oxen".

"Oh, we sure are fellow Oxen, but I am stronger!" Yolanda yelled and the giant Ox spirits clashed.

The main battlefield was tense as well - Goatee had already unleashed his Baphomet Goat just like his son, while Gustav fought with the same Poisonous Water Snake Rick possessed, but his one was a lot stronger. The 'sisters' had gone all out as well, engaged in bloody battles. Tamie too had already come face to face with her opponent - the former Jupiter Celestial Lady defeated by Riza, Julia Gold.

"Hmph, so boring..." Julia rolled eyes, "I thought I'd take revenge on that Riza Schatzen for shaming me in front of fellow Fire Celestial Lords, but all I get instead is her puny little friend".

"Come at me, and I'll show you what this 'puny little friend' of hers is capable of!" Tamie frowned and took her battle pose.

"Huh... Fine, but don't go crying to mommy when I beat you up," Julia proudly chuckled, "Sagittarius Style, Sneaker Art, Ninja Mode; Dog Spirit, Ring Twelve - Orange Nine-tailed Fox!" she got embraced by her powerful Fire Fox spirit.

"Libra Style, Writer Art, Summoner Mode!" Tamie yelled, and then took a deep breath, adding: "Tiger Spirit, Ring Five - White Air Tiger!"

She got engulfed in a White Tiger spirit which was a lot smaller than Julia's Fox one, so Julia burst out laughing:

"You're Summoner rank but only Ring Five spirit? You're kidding me. You're a goner!"

"I won't lose, not when my friends' lives are on the line!" Tamie shouted with clear rage and her Tiger spirit jumped forward.

The opponents clashed. The bloody battle of the two orders had begun.
