Nash's POV
It's past 4pm when Gabby wakes up. As much as I'd been anticipating seeing her and talking to her, it's difficult to answer every question she has about last night.
I am still shocked she asked me to stay with her. I know she'd never admit it, regardless of how she acts or feels sober, she still cares about me.
She wants me with her, and I want her with me. Even though I know a part of her hates me, is annoyed by me, and wants me to get out of her life.
"What were you doing at Club's?" She asks me in a way that I know she has one reason on her mind: to drink.
It was only to calm me, but I know how Gabby feels about my choice of habits and I don't want her to think I'm an alcoholic.
"I had only one drink. I had a lot on my mind and the bartender and I there are pretty close".
She nods unassuringly and I try not to be annoyed by her judgement.
"Emily was there wasn't she?" I'm stunned by her question.
"Emily? I don't know. I haven't talked to her." I reply.
"Was there any girls there that you've..." She speaks enough that I know what she's regarding, and I shake my head.
"No." I spoke looking away from her.
"Oh." She speaks lowly.
"Have you been with anyone?"
I slowly move my head back to her direction as she attempts to ignore the question.
Her face lowers as she doesn't speak, and it's enough to give me the answer.
I figured by now she'd found someone. I wasn't surprised by any means, but I was stunned she hadn't mentioned him before now.
"How long?" I ask her.
"What does it matter?" She snaps annoyed by my sudden flood of questions.
I don't say anything else, instead I remain quiet.
"I'm not seeing him anymore." I turn back to her and our eyes meet once again.
I was tempted to ask why, but I know it's best not to push her.
I reply with an 'Oh', bringing some relief.

Gabby's POV
As I sat with Nash, attempting conversation, the room filled with nothing but tension. I could tell Nash wanted to know more about who I was seeing, It was obvious he was holding back.
I stay silent and watch him intently, until he peers back in my direction and our eyes meet once again.
I couldn't help but be annoyed as his long wild hair falls over the side of his face.
I quickly 'scootch' closer to him, decreasing the distance between us from a couple feet, to inches.
Nash looks at me, furrowing his brows in confusion and I give him a reassuring smile as he peers at me.
I can feel Nash's eyes on me, as I quickly grab the elastic band around my wrist. Just before pulling his hair up, twisting it up gently, wrapping the elastic around it and giving it a slight but gentle tug to confirm it's set in place.
"Okay" I say softly at the appearance of the 'man' bun, almost in a whisper before I realize how close Nash and I's faces are.
"Now, you can finally see your face." I speak softly to him, and his lips tug into a slight smile.
