Playing Games with The Player Two (Continued from Chapter 36 of PGWTP)
Gabby's POV
My heart feels like it's breaking down as Nash pours out his feelings to me.
It's all so surreal, watching him get on one knee and my insides turn to jelly.
I nod, trying to hold back sobs as tears flood down my cheeks and down to my neck.
"Yes." Is what I manage to say, and I laugh a little as he puts it on my finger, and without hesitation, kiss each other passionately.
Fire almost burns through us, as he kisses me, and proveeds to pick me up, wrapping my legs around his waist, continuing to suck slowly on my lips as I do the same to his.
I wrap my arms around his neck, running my fingers through his hair and our lips seperate. Our foreheads still resting against each other, our lips brushing one another.
I smile at him and give him another small peck on the lips.
"I've been thinking lately." I sigh and move my hands down to his forearms.
"Yeah? What about?" He smiles, but I can see the concern in his peircing blue eyes.
"You really need to go see your mom. At least call her. Your dad too. If you want me to go with you I will. Hayes barely keeps in touch with them but still calls them, and I think it's important you do to." I sigh.
Elizabeth was a complete delight, honestly she was. She was like another mom to me, and after Mom passed away, I really wished I could've had the courage to go talk to her, she would have understood.
"I talk to Dad...sometimes." Nash hesitates as I look back at him.
"And your Mom?" I ask, looking at him with my brow up.
"Uh..."
"Don't lie to me." I give him a look and his gaze falls to the ground.
"I can't talk to her." He says simply, the tension in his shoulder releasing
"Why? Nash—you can tell me." I look at him with pleading and assuring eyes.
For a few moments he hesitates and finally looks at me again.
"Mom really...really, liked you. She thought the world of you. All I heard since she met you was 'How's Gabby? When are you going to invite or bring Gabby over again?' Constantly. I didn't tell her for a long time. She defenitely got suspicious, and I wasn't going to say anything. Mom started asking Hayes, and Hayes knew pretty much everything of the situation, so after mom begged, he gave in and blabbed. She didn't even know I was like that. And even more, that I would do that to you. I know it really hurt her,and since graduation was only like a week away, Dad gave me some money to get a house the day of graduation, and I moved out." He sighs.
I can imagine Elizabeth being heartbroken, I would be too. But I know her enough, and she'd forgive Nash. She's too sweet to hold grudges.
My parents didn't favor Nash much, but Elizabeth was a charmer, and mom thought the world of her.
"Nash, we all make mistakes. I know her enough that she'd look past that. You've changed so much, she'd be proud of you. Please, for me, go see her and I'll even go with you. At least call her. You never know when you won't see her again." Nash nods, and I liss his cheek.
