Friend

I don't want to feel this way. Isn't bad if I feel light even I know I'm at the complicated relationship? I don't want to admit it, but that's what I'm feeling for the past few weeks.

Hindi ko maitanggi na nakakaramdam ako ng magaan na pakiramdaman ngayon. I keep on reminding my self, everytime Dino will text or call.

Dino:

Goodevening! Can I call?

It's not just one text. Mayroon pang sumunod.

Dino:

You're busy? Your phone don't want to accept my calls. I miss you...

Humugot ako ng hininga nang mabasa iyon. I... blocked him for calling me.

Dino:

Text me when you read this. I'm starting to get worried.

A guilt stripped within me. I start composing my reply to him.

Ako:

Morning! Just woke up. I'm sorry last night. I got exhausted from my calculus assignment. Ang hirap :'(

After I send it, natulala ako. A memory from last night flashed into my mind.

As I continued to stare at my own cellphone, my door suddenly sounds a loud knock. Halos tumilapon ang hawak kong phone nang tumambad saakin si Faith.

Squealing and a big smile plastered on her lips, when she entered. Kumunot ang noo ko sa kanyang tinuran.

"O my god!" tumili siya, "Gumising ka diyan, Cassandra! Someone sent a flowers for you!"

Ang pagtataka ay napalitan ng pagkagulat. Parang binudburan ng asin si Faith at tinuro ang hamba ng pintuan ko. Then, I saw Quri holding a big red bouquet of roses. Halos hindi ko na makita ang mukha niya sa laki ng bulaklak.

Malaki ang mga ngiti ni Quri nang makalapit sakin at ibinigay ang bulaklak. I almost smell the fragrance smell.

Tinaggap ko iyon, hindi pa din makapaniwala.

"I bet it's from Dino, you know. But this is the first time, huh." Faith, having a big smirk at me.

Mas lalo akong napanganga. Mayroon na akong ideya kung sino ngunit gulat pa din nang kusang lumabas iyon sa bibig ng iba. I-it's from... him?

"Ano?"

Napuno ng hiyawan ang buong kwarto ko. Lalo na sa mga tili ni Faith at pagtawa sakanya ni Quri. My room's feel so alive again because of them!

Halata ngang nagmadali papunta rito sina Quri at Faith. They're still on their pajamas, yet they're already shrieking on my bed. Well, I can't blame them though. This is the first time that Dino gave me a flower. But I love his boxes the most.

My phone beeped all of a sudden. Mas lalo akong napangiti nang marinig 'yon. It must be Dino.

Upon checking the message, my smiles fade away.

Kurt:

Did you saw the flowers, already?

Unti unti kong nararamdaman ang pagdaloy ng lamig sa aking tiyan. Halos manginig ang mga daliri ko sa kaba.

Ako:

Galing sa'yo?

"But no one leave a name."
