Since Stan's question got ignored, he decided to try asking Kyle about it again.
It was a day after the fire at their school. The classroom damaged was at the beginning of repair.
"Hey Ky?" Stan called.
"Yeah?" Kyle called back from their bedroom.
"Can you come here for a second?"
Kyle appeared next to Stan in the living room after making the trip there. Kyle was working on homework and Stan had been watching TV.
"Do you know the guy who trapped you in the classroom?" Stan was afraid Kyle would try to run away so he put a hand on his thigh gently and asked the question softly.
At first Kyle was quiet.
Stan waited patiently for Kyle to say something.
"I see him hang around with Cartman a lot." Kyle answered. That didn't sound good.
"You think Cartman had something to do with it maybe?" "It's possible. He hates me." Kyle reminded Stan.
"Not enough to kill you I don't think." Stan was searching for a possibility in his brain. A possibility if Cartman had something to do with Kyle's almost-death experience.
Stan then picked up his phone and dialed a number. He clicked the speaker button as it rang.
"Hey man." Kenny answered after 4 rings.
"Does Cartman know about Kyle?" Stan asked his close friend.
Kyle knew that Kenny knew about his diagnosis'. He was comfortable with Kenny knowing, but definitely not Cartman.
"Not that I know of. I never told him. Why?" "Some kid who hangs around with him trapped Kyle in the classroom next to the one on fire yesterday." Stan explained trying to remain calm.
"Holy shit really?" Kenny sounded shocked.
"Yeah. He's okay though. I feel like Cartman had something to do with it. I started thinking about it and it makes a lot more sense than I thought. He's been so distance to us all lately."
"True. I've seen him with some blonde kid-"
"That's the guy!" Stan exclaimed.
"That kid walks around with him a lot. I saw them walk past my house a few minutes ago." Kenny checked outside the window from his bedroom just to see if he could see Cartman and his new friend.
Something just didn't feel right about the situation.
"He's just- hang on the house phone is ringing." Stan heard Kenny stand up and walk down the stairs in his house.
Kenny looked at the caller ID and saw it was Cartman's cell phone number.
"It's Cartman! Here be quiet I'll put the call on speaker so you can hear." Kenny clicked the answer button.
Kenny said something first, "Hello?"
"Hey what's up, bro?" Cartman asked.
cStan and Kyle were listening from their end of the line on Kenny's cell phone.
"Not much, why are you calling my house phone?" "Because you hardly ever answer your cell phone. Anyways, we haven't hung out in awhile. You should come over and play video games with me and Xavier."
"Who's that?" Kenny wondered. He guessed it was Cartman's friend he'd been hanging around with.
"My friend. I can't hang out with you and Stan and that fucking mess anymore." Cartman chuckled. Stan, Kyle, and Kenny heard someone else laugh too.
