Chapter 7

i woke up to the sun shining in my face. i looked over at the clock and saw that it was 9:47. i groaned as i remembered that it was not a dream, and i got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. Dylan told me he would be here at 11 so we can practice our powers and so he can teach me all he knows about it. 

i went over to my closet and picked out sweats and a t shirt an put them on and made my downstairs as the clock ticked 10:33 to have some breakfast.

as i reached the fridge i took out the jam and bread and made myself a sandwhich and ate it then my brother, caleb came downstairs.

"what are you dong up so early?" he asked as he took out the milk bottle and poured some in a glass.

" i am going for some workout," i told him. he stared at me for a few seconds.

"oh you're not joking, wow," he said quickly blinking. he got the milk bottle out again and this time he drank directly from the bottle.

"you're so gross,' i said then he burped and then i glared at him, " like so gross you make me question your existance," i said as i stood up after finishing my sandwhich. and then i looked at the clock 10:58, "see ya,"

"yeah, see you too," caleb said and kissed my cheek, then he went to the living room and i made my way outside the house and sat on my front porch and waited for dylan. 

after 5 minutes of sitting there a jeep pulled up in my driveway and dylan got out of the car smiling from ear to ear. he wore sweats and a sweat shirt. i stood up and smiled back. he came over to me and gave me a warm hug.

"hey clark," he said softly in my ear. 

"hey dylan," i said back. we pulled away and he opened the car's door for me and i thanked him and got into the car. he joged to the other side and got into the car and started the car and drove. he was extremely nice and calm today. He was always nice and calm, but somehow he looks more relieved.

"umm, so where exactly is this abandoned place you're taking me?" i asked.

"its not really that abandoned, i mean it's more like a public proprety that no one goes to anymore and people just simply don't care about," he explained.

i nodded, "okay, cool, i guess,"

"yeah, i mean it's porbably the only place where we can use these weird abilities without anyone seeing us," 

10 minutes later we parked in front of a wire fence that had 'DO NOT ENTER' sign on it, and behind it looked like there was a forest, or more like a garden that no one looked after for years now.

"c'mon, this is it" dylan said as he got out of the car. i got out and went to the front of the car and stood next to him.

"thats it, what part of do not enter do you not understand?" i smirked at him.

"well, what part of we are out of the ordinary and no one will suspect a thing if we are here do you not understand?" it was his turn to smirk at me, " we're climbing it okay?" he said as he held on the fence.

"yeah, how else will go in there," i pursed my lips together.

"can you climb it?" he asked.

"yeah, that's easy stuff, pff" i scoffed. he laughed at me.

"okay i'll climb in first then you climb in and i'll catch you okay" he said. i nodded. and so he started climbing and then i started climbing the fence too. he made it to the other side and when he noticed i was already on the top of the fence he looked surprised.
