   I hate it when he's right.

   Josh's P.O.V.

   I left because Claudia was being an ass. I still think that she's still jealous about Jen though. Our conversations lately have always, one way or another, led up to Jen.

   I love Jen. She's probably one of my bestest friends and we always have a good laugh when we're together. You know what? I think I'm going to stop by.

   I get in the car and drive towards Jen's place.

   I knock on her door and Maddie answers.

   "Hey," I say.

   "Hey! Come on in." she smiles.

   "What are you doing here? Not meaning to be rude or anything."

   "Had nothing to do, so I came here to see you and Jen." I couldn't help but smile when I said her name.

   "She's brushing her teeth now, want me to go get her?"

   "Sure."

   "Jen! You have company! Hurry up!" she shouted.

   "I'll be right back." Maddie says.

   "Okay." I reply.

   I have been here before so I walk to the couch and sit on it, not knowing there was a girl on it.

   She screamed as soon as I sat down. She screams really loud too.

   "Sorry, it's just that you're..."

   "Josh Hutcherson, I know. I get that a lot."

   "I'm Gemma, and you're dreamy." she says.

   I was being to feel a little uncomfortable. Good thing Maddie came back and said, "Gemma, go to my room. Now."

   Then the girl waved bye to me and walked upstairs.

   "Sorry about that, she can be a handful sometimes."

   "It's alright, did Jen adopt--"

   "Oh, no! She's just a friend. It's a long story."

   Jen came downstairs in the same outfit as me coincidentally. White tee and jeans.

   "Oh, hey." Jen says.

   "Hey." I don't know why things began to feel awkward.

   "So... you want to do something together? I don't know..." My voiced trailed off.

   "Sure, I'd love to." Jen says.

   "Stay here with Gemma," she adds.

   "But can I come?" Maddie practically begs.

   "No, I need you to stay here."

   "Fine." After that she stomps upstairs. Probably into her room.

   "So, where are we going?"

   "I know of the perfect place." I couldn't help but smile.

   Maddie's P.O.V.

   "Hey, Gemma. What should we do now?" I ask.

   "I don't know. Is Jen home?"

   "No, she left with Josh."

   "Ooh! Are they like, together or something?" she asks excitedly.

   "No! They're just friends!"

   "I don't know, they seem... happier when they're together."

   "You noticed that? Nosy." I say.

   "I'm not nosy. Just observant."

   "Yeah, right. But seriously? What do you want to do now?"

   "Gossip, I think they're gonna end up being together." she smiles.

   "Or not, how can they? They've been friends since... forever! They can't like each other. Does it even work that way?" I say.

   "I think that even the bestest friends can end up together."

   "Okay?" I say slowly. "What's your point?"

   "That they'll end up together. How much you wanna bet?"

   "I don't think we should bet on their relationship."

   "Well, I will. Twenty bucks goes to the winner. Deal?" she extends her hand.

   At first I was hesitant, then I said, "Deal," and shook her hand.
