Chapter 8: Moving Forward

Yoojung's POV

Now that I've finally patched up my relationship with my friends from Weki Meki, I can finally begin performing and training without regrets.

I still have one whole day to polish my homework for my vocal training, and to create a corresponding dance for it.

After meeting with Weki Meki, I went straight to Big Hit Ent to record my version of Spring day and to choreograph a simple dance for it.

After recording, I went to one of the dance studio to check if someone was using it. There are about 5 dance studios at Big Hit. Luckily, no one was using any of them. I fixed the set up of the music equipment and plugged in my ipod, and played the song that I recorded.

As the song was acoustic, I think that doing a modern dance would compliment it. I have one huge problem though..... I'm not very good with modern dance.

So I sat down for a while and watch some modern dance video from the internet. After a while, I was able to find inspiration and began creating dance steps.

I was polishing the steps that I made for the first part when I heard someone spoke.

"Wow! You're very good at dancing! The way you rearrange the song was also very nice!" It was Jimin Sunbaenim

I was really surprised.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you, I left some of my stuff here, and I was knocking but no one answered so I thought no one was in here" he explained.

"It's okay Sunbaenim" I said giving him a small smile

"Do you need help? Modern dance is my specialty. I have nothing to do today anyway" He offered.

A part of me really wants his help because i'm not very good with modern dance and this is also a chance to interact with Sunbaenim. I really want to have a close relationship with all of them.

I decided to grab the opportunity to learn from one of the best dancers in the Kpop industry.

"I'm having a hard time with the chorus part of the song, The original choreography is really good and I wanted to just modify it to fit the tempo of the song but I don't know if that would work." I said. I was looking at the floor, Jimin Sunbaenim is a very attractive guy, he is always smiling, looking at his face is distracting.

"hmm okay, try it first, if it doesn't work then I'll help you modify it" He responded.

I tried doing it and slowed down the original dance steps Spring Day, it just doesn't fit the song.

Throughout the day, Jimin Sunbaenim helped me with my choreography, in the end we were able to come up with a beautiful one. Jimin Sunbaenim has always been my bias in BTS. His dance skills are no joke. Every movement he made was beautiful. He's really very heplful and patient with me and I'm very grateful. Dancing is one of my favorite things to do. Seeing how beautiful Jimin Sunbaenim danced today inspired me to work harder in order to achieve that level of dance skills.

"Come on let's dance together the whole song one last time, then let's eat" He said.

It was already late when we left the dance studio. We stopped by a retaurant nearby our company building.

"Is it okay that we eat here together? Wouldn't people think we're on a date?" I asked.

"Let them think what they want to think." Jimin Sunbaenim said.

While waiting for our orders I decided to take this opportunity to thank him.

"Sunbaenim, I really I appreciate your help today, Thank you so much!" I said while bowing my head

"Ahhh don't call me Subaenim, just call me Oppa, we're housemates now let's get along with each other" he replied with his signiture smile that makes his eyes disappear.

To be honest, it made my heart flutter a little aaaahhh why does he have to be this cute. No Yoojung... You cannot fan girl right now.

"I've been really waiting for an opportunity to spend time with you, I want you to know that everyone in the dorm wants to be friends with you. Please don't be shy towards us just be yourself." He said.

"Haha you'll regret saying that once you guys see my crazy side" I said

"Haha we'll see about that!" He responded.
