You are a morning star
I am a speck
I indulge in your radiance of beauty
But i can never have itI am a blade of grass
You are a rose
There are thorns that have damaged the hands of those trying to pluck youYou are breaking me
But they are all a part of you
And you are gloriousI am a black hole
I reel in everything around
only to be suffocated by the reality that
it isn't you that i am holdingI choke everything in my grasp
You are a constellation all your ownLight-years away from me
My beckons for you are encaged by spaceI am a second in your lifetime.
I am chipped pain on a wall
I detach from society
I fall to the ground of defeat
I gave up on clinging to the other parts of meWhen i hit the ground
People notice
But they don't even bat an eye as they put a fresh coat of paint
They replace me so easily. The sun bleaches the tint from me
You gave me my color.
I lost it.
