"I've been diligently training this girl to become who she is. Of course, I cannot take all credit. She chose this path. Fully armed at all times and a glorified weapon,"
Tony's voice was muffled, but clear. My stupid nervousness and anxiety at the highest possible setting on the humanity scale.
"And Spiderman. Defied my orders to stop a villain I never would have paid attention to. Everyone said I was insane for believing in someone as young as him."
"But of course, this day is to celebrate the people who have been hiding behind masks for months. Years, if you will."
"Please, celebrate these wonderful people who have protected you unconditionally for eighteen months."
Peter and I remove our masks in sync. Looking up at the cameras and the lights and the people simultaneously.
The room fell silent.
Suddenly it was screaming for attention, questions on rapid fire.
"Mr Stark, this girl is your daughter!"
"Mr Stark, do you mean to put your daughter in harms way?"
"One at a time, please. We have all day to answer every question available." he tells them.
