"Alright kiddos, I'm going home. Go have fun yourselves."
Hank said, waving goodbye to us slightly.

"Good Night, Lieutenant."
Connor said.
"Get home safely, Lieutenant."
I added, waving goodbye as well.

"I'm going to head back to the CyberLife facility. Are you going as well?"
I asked Connor, looking at Hank driving off in his car.

"I think.. I'm going to stay here for a while."
Connor told me, looking at me while I turned my head to face him.

The place where you're at is the place where Hank likes to lean back and.. consume alcoholic, I suppose.

It was a beautiful place. A lake, surrounded by a railing so no one falls in, benches around it and a play yard for children.

Even though he consumed two bottles of beer, thus being slightly drunk, Connor and I didn't stop him from driving.

It's not the first time, and we used to try to stop him, resulting in nothing.

It was dark and the snow was settling on the ground. It was rather cold, but our artificial warmth kept our thirium (blue blood) from freezing.

"Don't take all too long or else Amanda will notice."
I informed him, not looking away from his eyes.

"Yes, I'll think about that."
Connor said, looking at the half frozen lake.

Connor, Lieutenant Anderson and I were working together for a while now, investigating against deviants.

We were known as the deviant hunters for quite a while now, but.. We went easy on deviants lately.

Connor hesitated to shoot sometimes, sparing them, while I tried to talk to them, trying to help them.

Lieutenant Anderson supported this by saying it's probably better this way.

Actually, Connor and I weren't really allowed to spare deviants, except sparing them for information, which results in resetting their program.

"Since we located Jericho, Amanda will give us new instructions soon.."
I spoke up, causing Connor to look down slightly.

"Maybe tonight is the night that will end it all.."
Connor muttered, sounding a little bit insecure.

I tilted my head to the side, looking at him in concern.
"You will need to report this.."
I muttered, smiling to myself while tears welled up my eyes.
