I went to the hotel with Brenda at 5 p.m. I didn't want to stay somewhere where I wasn't permitted to see my husband. Brad is my love, life, and he's my world. Without him, I'm just a girl. My aunt Gwendolyn used to tell me that a life without love, isn't life. You need love to for fill it. That advice has always stuck to me.

I sat on my phone, just going on Instagram. I had nothing better to do. I stopped when my phone buzzed for the billionth time.

1 new message from Miranda Lancaster-McVey- at 5:19 p.m.-
Tammy, I left the hospital with James now. We are gonna go pick up Jamie and then we're gonna go out. Why don't you and Brenda join us? It'll distract you from Brad.

I thought about it for a few minutes. Maybe I should go.

"Brenda!" I yelled. She stormed in here. "Do you want to go out with Jamie, James, and Miranda?"

"Yes!"

"Grab your coat and let's go."

We walked down the corridor to James' and Miranda's suite. Jamie came running towards us.

"So, you accepted?" Miranda asked.

"Yeah. I need to distract myself for a few hours."

"Kat, Katie, Matthew, Liberty, Demi, and Connor are coming. They're leaving Samuel with the hotel daycare. He's still delicate."

"That's cool. I guess it'll be fun. What about Tris?"

"He's gonna stay at the hospital to keep us posted."

"Okay."

"Brighten up, Tammy. You'll have fun." James said.

"I wish."

"You'll have fun. Don't worry."

"I hope."

"Stop with the two word sentences."

"Okay Mr. McVey." He made a silly face at me. Miranda, Jamie, Brenda, and I burst into laughter.

Just as we were exiting the hotel, I saw Tallia and Austin pull up. I forgot, Tallia was working till 5:30 today.

"Hey sis!"

"Hi Tal. Hi Austin. What are you guys doing here?"

"We are on our way to yours. Well, first pick up the kids from Toni's. How bout you?"

"Gonna go out with my pals."

"No, we are gonna distract her for a few hours." Demi muttered.

"I heard that!" I yelled. Demi turned away and hid her face into Connor's arms.

"So, yeah. Gonna go out for a little with Brenda."

"You and Brenda are cool?"

"Yeah. I thought I told ya at the hospital?"

"Oh, you did. I forgot."

"Of course you did, Tal."

"Yeah, honey. You forget a lot of things." Austin commented.

"Hey! I am not forgetful. Am I?" Tallia asked. Everyone turned away, some were whistling. "Really?! Ah!" She got in Austin's car angrily. "Take me home, Austin!" Austin looked at her, his face saying really? "Now!" Tallia's voice was much harsh and Austin got scared and ran to the car.

"Bye everyone!" Austin said. You could tell he feared Tallia's bad side.

We started walking to the bus, which was parked in front of the hotel. As soon as we got in, my phone began to ring. It was Tris.

"Hey Tris. What's up?"

"Tammy, I need to tell you something really important." He sounded worried.

"What happened Tristan? You're scaring me."

"It's about Brad."

"What happened to Brad?"

"Remember yesterday, I texted you that if he regains his memory he could escape but we didn't have to worry cos they're nurses there 24/7?"

"Yes. And?"

"He escaped. He's long gone." I dropped the phone and looked out the window. No.
