Chapter 16 - What? Why?

            “Why, why?”

            “Just why with it.”

            “I’ll try to why with it when this headache goes away.”

            “Let’s stop with the why’s if it’s giving both of us headaches.” Seriously, a headache was growing inside my brain.

            “Okay, now lets open the songs.” Maze reached for her phone and slid it open. She opened the first song, which turned out to be Daft Punk’s Get Lucky.

            “I love this song!” she said to me over the song. We both just started singing to all the songs that came on.

            “She’s up all night to the sun,

            I’m up all night to get some,

            She’s up all night for good fun

            I’m up all night to get lucky!” we sang as loud as we could and I bet you, her neighbors probably thing we’re just some crazy stoners on crack, but I really don’t care, this is really fun. We’re terrible at singing but we also enjoy singing. We kept on laughing in the process of singing horrible. I even almost fell off the bed because I was laughing too much.

            Maze got a call on her phone and she answered it, half laughing half dying ‘cause all the laughter took all her breath away, same happened to me.

            “He-hello?” she stuttered through her laughter. I put my ear next to the other end of the phone while trying to calm myself down and get my breath steady.

            “What’s going on in there with you and Izzy? You two sound like a bunch of dying whales.” Aron’s voice came from the other end.

            “Oh you know, the usual. Singing horribly. Disturbing the neighbors. Thanks for your concern, boyfriend, but I think we’ll be fine.” She took the phone away from her ear and hung up without listening to what Aron wanted to say next. We both just looked at each other and bursted out laughing.

            The songs were still playing as Maze and me both finished the left over candy we still had left.

            “Maze, today has been really fun.” I told her.

            “Agreed.” I threw a skittle wrapper at her for fun and soon it turns into a wrapper war. Throwing candy wrappers of all sorts over at each other and screaming when they hit your eye. One skittle wrapper had one skittle left in it and it went into my mouth. I wish that moment were recorded. It would’ve been so cool to see that skittle fly out of the bag and into my mouth.

            “That was cool! It was just like “Hey, there I’m little skittle left alone and abandoned by my family of friends and family. And now I’m gonna be doing a stunt that will stun you all! Here I go fleeing out of this bag!” and it just jumps into your mouth!” Maze yelled with excitement. While she was just standing there laughing at what she just sad, I took my chance and threw a wrapper at her.

            “Hey! I wasn’t ready!” she whined, grabbing a wrapper and throwing it at me, which I dodged.

            “You weren’t suppose to be ready! I had to take the chance I got!” I grabbed a whole bunch of wrappers and showered it all over her.

            “Hey!” she yelled over to me, grabbing all the wrappers she could hold with both her arms. “Take this as revenge.” She dunked it all over me and left on my head a Hershey kiss foil thing on my head.

            “Take the kiss as a present.” She did her fake innocent smile and walked over to the DVD section of her room and tried to find a movie to watch.

            “What you wanna watch?” she asked me, turning her head over her shoulder and faced me. I just shrugged not knowing what to choose. “Guess I’ll just choose Sex Drive?” my eyes widen and I shook my head no. Maze just laughed and said she was just kidding.

            “I don’t even have the DVD. And I don’t plan on buying it.” She laughed again and picked out a movie. Aquamarine read the title. I think I’ve seen the trailer to this move before, just never got around to watch it.

            I nodded approving and she smiled and headed over to her laptop, inserting the CD into the slot for it.

            She bought the laptop over to the bed and put it on the bed as she jumps on the bed making the laptop fly in the air about half and inch from the bed.

            She opens the movie and starts to play it.
