I have been living in and out of Korea since 1999. My mom and sisters are crazy about Kdrama. I have many friends who visit Korea three to five times a year because of Kpop. I never understood the fascination until I watched The Goblin.
The Goblin is the first Kdrama series I have watched from start to finish. Now I am a Kdrama fan. I am so overwhelmed by all the Korean series available on Netflix and other websites.
Before I convinced myself to watch The Goblin, I was so obsessed with American and British series. My obsession with Hollywood celebrities is one of the reasons why I cannot speak Korean fluently. My husband can speak English well and we barely speak Korean. I am an English teacher so I speak English at work most of the time.
