chapter 13: uncover

You froze in your spot as you watched Jungkook walking away,

'how can he believe I could do that ?' all you thought about was how could he even think of that,

For a moment, you couldn't think of anything but you soon thought of the only one who knew why you went to the guys' changing room that day,

You called him but he didn't pick up, so you desperately ran around the stadium looking for him, you went to the teachers' room, the toilets, the classrooms and even the parking lot but he wasn't anywhere,

You still didn't know what to do but you wouldn't give up trying to prove him wrong, whatever made Jungkook think that, you will make him believe you again,

You attended the remaining classes and when school was finally over, you immediately went to Kai's house,

"oh y/n my daughter, how are you ?" his mother greeted you with a wide smile when she opened the door for you,

"I'm good aunty, how are you ?"

"I'm good, come in !"

" I just ... I just want to see Kai, I couldn't see him at school ..."

"oh he didn't go to work today and he just left to the grocery store, come in and wait for him"

You smiled awkwardly and went in,

"I'll make you a sandwich, you can wait for him in his room"

"no, don't bother yourself I'm not hungry"

"I know you are, don't lie to me"

You gave her a smile and she walked to the kitchen,

You took the stairs up to Kai's room and sat on the edge of his bed,

Even though you wanted so bad to change Jungkook's mind, you still thought of a way to help him,

"aah how didn't I think about it before ?!" you jumped from the bad as you thought maybe the guy, who gave Kai what you believed to be drugs, is the same guy who put drugs in Jungkook's bag,

'what if Kai wouldn't want to help me ?' you thought, you knew Kai hated Jungkook and he would be happy if they exclude him so it wouldn't be surprising for you if he refuses to help you,

You looked around the room and thought 'what if I could find what that guy handed Kai ?'

You hesitated at first but if that will help Jungkook in any way, then you'll do it,

You made sure Kai's mother was still in the kitchen and started searching the room,

There was nothing that indicated that he might be hiding something,

You sighed as you thought it was a helpless guess but at the corner of your eye, his laptop, which was on, caught your attention,

You walked to the small desk and without even trying to think too much, you noticed a file on the home-screen had your name,

You frowned and clicked on it without hesitation,

It only had one video and you were so curious of what it could be,

You played it and it was so confusing at first,

You recognized Kai's face but it was still blurry and unsteady,

After few seconds, the image was still and you could easily tell it was the guys' changing room of your school,
