NoEros^

My eyes shifted from Thanatos when I heard the hall doors open. I could feel myself starting to tear up as Sydney walked in with Zeus. He's the one escorting her down since her father couldn't be here, for obvious reasons. She looked stunning in her dress. I looked over at Erebus to see a huge grin plastered on his face. I really missed a lot these last three year. My best friend was getting married to a god, and I wasn't even there for her to confide too. I don't even know how their relationship started.

There was no time for negative thoughts right now, what's done is done.

They finally reached the end and Zeus handed her off to Erebus. She blushed as he grabbed her hand.

"Friends we have joined here today to share with Sydney and Erebus an important moment in their life. Their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives as one."

I didn't know where they found this priest or even who he was. My whole time living here I've never seen him. Was he a god too? Most likely.

The rest of the wedding I completely spaced out, still trying to decipher the look in Thanatos eyes. I've also been avoiding him since the wedding ended, which I'm sure he knows. Now I was currently sitting at the bar sipping whatever the bartender made me.

"What's a pretty girl like you sitting all along for?" I rolled my eyes. I guess no matter where you live all guys use the same pickup lines. I looked over to see a guy about my age sitting in the chair next to me. He had short black hair and cute dimples, he wasn't that bad to look at. "I'm Noeros." He held out his hand introducing himself, once he noticed my lack of response. Noeros? What a weird name.

"Isabel." I grabbed a hold of his hand. It was so soft, someone moisturizes.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He smiled at me. I couldn't help but blush. Is it just me or did it suddenly get hot in here? He reached out placing his hand on my arm. I felt sparks of pleasure shoot through me. Who was this guy? "Would you like to dance?"

Something was telling me to say no, but another part of me was screaming yes. "I wouldn't mind." He smiled brightly at me. He stood up holding his arm out for me to take. I wrapped my hand around his arm as he leads me to the small dancefloor. I couldn't help but breathe in his scent, it was intoxicating.

Once we made it to the center of the floor he placed his hands on my hip. "You're so tense." He leaned in to whisper in my ear. Was I? I felt relaxed. I shivered as his breath hit my ear.

"Sorry I just realized I'm not good at dancing." I admitted, blushing. He pulled back, giving me a breath-taking smile.

"I'll guide you," We were standing very close together, even though the music was anything but slow. He started swaying us from side to side. I placed my hands on his shoulders, starting to get comfortable. "So, tell me about yourself."

"Uh, there's not anything to tell." But if there was I would tell him everything.

"How'd a human get here in Mount Olympus." He questioned, raising an eyebrow at me. For a second, I got lost in his eyes. They were so blue, it was like looking into an ocean.

I cleared my throat breaking eye contact, trying to remember what he asked. Was it to go back to his room? I wouldn't object. "I'm not fully human." He seemed really intrigued now.

"Then what are you?" He brought his hand up, bringing it down the side of my face. I felt my breath hitch, oh god.

"Not one of your toys." A deep voice answered from behind me. I leaned around to see Thanatos standing there. He was angry but trying to control it.

Noeros rolled his eyes as he turned to face him. "I don't believe my question was for you."

Thanatos ignored him, as his eyes focused on me. I gulped. "Get over here Isabel." I sighed as I made my way next to him. Something told me now would not be a good time to get on his bad side. Noeros watched the exchange with nothing but curiosity in his eyes. For some reason I wasn't as attracted to him as I was before. He was still hot though.

"So she's your toy?" He smiled sweetly at Thanatos.

Thanatos growled. "Don't come anywhere near her again."

"We were only having a friendly conversation, right Isabel?" He turned to me, giving me the sexist smile I've ever seen. I could feel my knees going weak. Thanatos moved in front of me, blocking his view.

"I won't tell you again." He grabbed my hand, dragging me away from him. I glanced back to see noeros still smiling at us. He gave me a wave when he noticed me looking. I raised my hand intending to wave back, only for Thanatos to smack it down. "Keep walking."

I followed him as he leads me out a back door and towards a garden. I've been here for three years and never seen this garden. Did they just open it up? Was I banned from it or something? "When did this get here?"

Thanatos looked over at me. "This is Demeter's garden, it's always been here."

"How come I've never seen it?" He shrugged. We walked further into the garden. It was dark out, so I didn't really get to see all the beautiful flowers. I made a note to come back here when it was daylight outside. If I remembered how. He kept walking until we were no longer in the garden. "Where are we going?" We were heading towards the darker part of Mount Olympus that I've never been to.

"My home here." I looked over at him to see a tick in his jaw. Was he angry? Why? And since when did he have a home here?

"I thought you said you had no where else to sleep." I frowned at him.

"I lied." Why am I not surprised? I continued to let him drag me, once again getting lost in my thoughts. I tend to do that a lot lately. What was Sydney doing right now? Are they planning to stay here for their honeymoon? When will Thanatos make me go back? I hadn't seen those two since the wedding. They didn't bother showing up to the after party, I should've skipped out on it too. "Why do you make such an ugly face when you're thinking?"

I looked over at him to see the amusement in his eyes. I didn't make an ugly face, did I? "Why is your face always ugly?" I shot back. With that he started laughing.

"Anyways we're here." He finally stopped laughing. I cocked my head to the side as I studied the building.

"So, this is how the other side lives."
