Gumi Megpoid x Reader

"You okay?"

Two words, one summer breeze and you dozing made you realize that when you looked up at Gumi who was staring at you with concern in her green eyes. What a pretty color, you couldn't help but note that, as you did have a weakness for green eyes. But Gumi had told you one two many times that she was not interested in dating when you pretended to be asking in curiosity. You stared at her then remembered to reply and made a soft noise as she looked at you worriedly.

"I'm fine. Just thinking." You replied with a soft shrug as you looked out the window again with disinterest. She leaned towards you lightly and you looked at her squinting until she poked your cheek and you couldn't help but smile.

"What're you thinkin' about?" She asked with wide eyes as she looked at you and you finally laughed lightly gaining the attention of a few students walking in the room.  She looked so cute, her shoulder length green hair in two small pig tails near the nape of her neck and her bangs hung straight down the bridge of her nose, right in between her eyes cutely and her matching green eyes stared straight at you.

"Ice cream." You replied lightly flicking her nearest, right pigtail making her giggle and you smiled wider. She was so cute! Too cute, actually.

"Want to have ice cream when we get to the house?" She asked sitting back in her seat, settling in as her eyes remained on you. There was something intent in her eyes but t was gone in a single eye blink making you wonder if you'd seen something and, if you did, what it meant.

"Sure~" You lightly sang while the rest of the students filed into the class and sat at their respective desks and you then looked down. You opened your notebook, pulled a pencil with an eraser out since you always wore down your pencils original erasers. You watched the teacher walk in with a grace you honestly wished you owned yourself and then settled into your seat shifting rapidly then sitting in a comfortable enough spot. Might as well, math class always sucked.

"So, what are you going to do when you got home and show the old but kind ones?" Gumi asked when the both of you fled the class, smiling at how she referred to your parents. You looked at your math score which was a bright red fifty and sighed folding it up into small squares then shoving them in your pocket.

"I don't know. Hopefully they won't ask. It's creepy how they sometimes know about school stuff before I do." You replied tilting your head while Gumi giggled again, the sound making your stomach flutter softly. You really did like Gumi, a lot, but you knew from what she's said that she was not interested in dating and you felt that you were no exception.

"All parents are like that! It's creepy that they know all this stuff about you or your school work that you had no idea about. Like how your mom knows when you go for the fresh cookies she makes. A sixth sense." Gumi replied putting a little hop in her step that you copied making her grin when you almost tripped. "Don't you thank God it's a half a day today? Just science, english, home economics and that last class dreadful math~"

You puffed your cheeks. "I'm just saying when am I going to be asked to use the Pythagorean Theorem ever in day to day life?" You demanded throwing your hands out Gumi grinning wider at you as something akin to amusement flashed in her eyes and you just rolled your eyes. No one understood how you felt about Math. Just what would you use it for some day? Sure, it was helpful and stuff, but all the algebra and stuff, when would that become useful?

"The Pythagorean Theorem can be used for anything~ So long as it involves a triangle." Gumi remarked grinning at you then noticed what you did at the same time. There was Rin, Len, Kaito and Meiko standing a little ways up the side walk of the school by the wall. Rin was waving excitedly and you noticed how her blue eyes, even from a distance, lingered on your own longer than needed. Gumi seemed to notice that for she stiffened but her eyes and face remained casual. "Rin Kagamine?"
