Bonding w/ Kim Namjoon

Being the only girl in the dorm and within the band, the boys took it upon themselves to get to know you better. They talked to each other that they should do something to bond with you and get to know you better. Although, being in a dorm with them 24/7, you thought that it was enough but to them it's not. They plan to know you better than just a band member.

You were reading a book called 'Daydreaming' in the living room when Namjoon came behind you. "What are you doing little Bee?" you jumped at his sudden question, you were so into the book you're reading that you didn't even notice him. You showed him the title of the book then he asked if he could see it.

Handing him the book, his eyes grew wide "This a thick and heavy book." he commented. "And it's in English too." he looked at you, looking amazed. You nodded at him. He was still examining the book when he turned his head to you. "Say, do you like reading books?" "I love reading books." you emphasized at the word love. You're an absolute bookworm, you love reading books in any genre, although you loved a book that specializes in magic or fantasy. You also enjoy reading educational books and it helped you tremendously when it come to your studies.

"How about we go out for a coffee tomorrow noon?" he asked you. You thought about your schedule for a second. You didn't have school or any exams to study on, the training with the boys will start again by next week. "Sure" you smiled at him.

"So you're telling me that you're top of the class?" he asked you, bewildred while waiting for the drinks that you ordered. If he was at your age, training and studying would be such a pain. "Yup." you asnwered him, feeling shy all of a sudden. "That's amazing!" he praised to which you turned shier.

"Have you wondered in this place?" he asked you while you were finishing your drink. "Not yet, I don't really trust myself alone with directions. I get lost easily." you stated. It's very true. You literally had no sense of direction although there are times that you'd remember but those barely happen. "Really?" he questioned again, shocked. You just nodded at him while sipping your drink. "Then you've got to go with me now." "Why? Where are we going?"

After Namjoon paid for the drinks which by the way you complained since you didn't want him to waste money on you but just said that if he'd spend money on people that you'd be the first person, you went for a walk around the place. You had no idea where the both of you are heading so you kept asking him questions.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise"

"I don't like surprises. Where are we going?"

"You'll like this one... I hope"

"Are we there yet?"

"Not yet, Lee Dora"

"I don't have a short hair and bangs. Are we the-"

"Yes"

"What is the su- Wait, what?"

You looked at him and he cocked his head to make you look at what's in front of you. When you finally looked at wherever he brought you. He was wrong on what he said. "So, did you like it?" he asked you but you shook your head. "You don't?" he asked, disappointed in himself. "I love it!" you exclaimed to him, hugging him in the process. He brought you to a library, one of your favorite places in the world.

The both of you were seating in front of each other with a table between and reading a book. You were reading X-Files and were so into it that you didn't notice Namjoon staring at you. You looked so innocent and peaceful. You're also a smart kid. A kid. He wondered if you were aware of the various feedback that you'd get once you debuted. Hearing what happened between you and Jungkook when he arrived made him worry. No, he wasn't worried about you breaking down. He was worried about how you'd turn out once you'd get used of the hate. But then he remembered how old you were right now, still cheery as ever. You were at such a young age yet you survived training and had landed a secure spot in a band. That though made him relax a little bit. 

He knew you were strong and he applaud you for that, he knew that you can handle yourself but he knows that he can't be too confident, he'll have to protect you, it's already an instinct to protect you when he first saw you standing at the doorway of the dorm that the both of you share with six other people.

Looking up at your book, you saw Namjoon staring at you. "Are you okay, oppa?" you asked him, obviously concerned. He smiled and nodded at you "What are you reading?" he asked you. You smiled so big and told him what you were reading and what it's about with a hushed voice. He was smiling at you. He definitely had to protect you.

"Oppa, thank you for today." you thanked him when you got back to the dorm. "You're welcome, little Bee." he smiled at you. "Did you have fun?" he asked. You broke out a huge smile "I had so much fun! Thank you for taking me out, oppa."
